In regards to O'Meara and his knee. Just throwing this out there, maybe the club are being cautious with the 23yr old who has played 6ish games in 2yrs and we invested heavily in.

Like to see Howe and Stewart in, but if we are bothering to name them, I hope we bloody well play them. They are the future, something we need to look at asap.

So I had the day off work today and I wandered down to sunny Waverly (not joking it was beautiful out there today)

I was able to watch a little over an hour of the session and among other things I cast my untrained eyes over that young bloke with the little bit of strapping on his knee who has quite the impressive rig on him.

I watched him do agility drills, sprints, clearance work, kicking drills, tackling drlls and match play.

I didn't see someone who was limping, hesitant or struggling, I saw someone being put through his paces with the rest of the team and thought he'd be named in the squad for sure.

When asked on 360 if he cares about where hawks he said "yes of course" - big difference with lewis who said "nah ive moved on"

I didn't see him but I was left with the impression he would play. Might still have a bit of soreness or something that doesn't inhibit him but the club would rather he heal fully. That is all speculation on my part though.

Agree, Brand , Sic, Howe, Burton, Simpson need to be played. They are the future.

We also need to try and get 5-10 games into Hardwick, Lovell (pending injury) Miles and Heatherly.

Probably also need to try and play the two O's a bit as well and find out if they are going to make it and be with us next year or traded for some picks.
