The strangest thing about that incident is that no one has ever got a decent hit on Harborw.
That was in 2010, and we had several opportunities.

Harbrow would have deserved everything he got.
Exactly, a shirtfront/charge thinly disguised as a spoil. If he met Lewis chest on like a real man Lewis would've been ok.

The players in the firing line for me are -
Smith , Shiels, Gunston, Poppy, Rioli, Stratton, Langford, Duryea, McEvoy, Frawley, Bruest.
These guys are all in their prime years, all premiership players, all of them playing well below what they are being paid. All are fit so no excuses.

Smith and Shiels were playing well until they were injured against the Crows, I don't think they should have played the following week. Puopolo was also going well till he took a heavy knock early in the match against the suns, probably shouldn't have played against the cats. Gunston can't kick goals from the wing so that's a coaching issue. The rest don't really have much of an excuse though.

Serious?? Harbrow was going for the mark, he had every right to go for that ball, just an unfortunate incident in my mind.

Ironically with all this talk about how good a guy Sammy is and how Lewis is a grub (which I don't agree with by the way) it was Sammy who kicked him that hospital pass!

There's four guys in our back line that can play tall plus Sicily could be thrown down there.

In our premiership years Burgoyne and Hodge would find themselves on the resting ruck at times as well.

If they throw McGovern forward it'd be a win for us cause he won't be taking mark after mark in the backline.

Brand must play for three reasons.

1. We need to develop a quality KPD and there aren't many other prospects on our list.

2. He has played pretty well and to drop him and retain Gibbo sends the wrong message.

3. Gibbo can't play on Darling or Kennedy. Hodge and Burgoyne could play in the third tall due to Lake and an in form Gibbo being there. We don't have that luxury anymore.

I dislike the way he goes about his footy, it's grubbish behaviour that saw him suspended that helps form that view. He then goes onto his media platform with the same dribble about his actions and tries to articulate himself like a model citizen, it's a facade and I've disliked it for years.

Sammy on the other hand... where's that statue?
I think we should hold off on calling Jordan a grub until he posts a picture of his missus' chest on a football forum, to try and impress random strangers. :D

No surprises there i dont see certain other players getting dropped for their atrocious form i dont know what it'll take for them to have a week off.

Early days but shit the Vickery acquisition looks bad
sure does - i still have faith in the club to transform him, like they did with Hale, there is definitely potential there....but gee, hasnt shown much since coming across....

good luck to Howe though, would like to see Stewart and JOR in as well, and just let them all play the year out, see who steps up

Also good to see it's only taken 4 games for Clarko to figure out Henderson is just a shit Clinton Young. I hope Howe can keep his spot I think he has a future.

you dont need 2 rucks V Weegirls

No but O'Brien has seemingly taken his place and chopped out McEvoy last week whilst also playing forward which was the same role Vickery 'played' when he was in the team. It is worrying that a free agent who was meant to come in and play every week has been overtaken by a player who has been in the system for 4 years and can be best described as raw and shown next to no development since his debut

Unfortunately I fear that like the Schoe transformation or O'Brien transformation it might not happen. Lake & Hale were two of the only reliable talls we've drafted since Rough & Bud. We haven't done too well. BB, Cegs & Frawley have been serviceable, but far from outstanding. Despite what some think, there's no magic Hawthorn wand.
