Don't think you sound like a dick at all. The relevance for me is the debate on whether these 3 players being outs makes it easier or more difficult a challenge for our team to win the game. In my opinion those 3 guys are not "big outs" and them missing do not make it any easier for us at all...in fact, the not well known Krueger in could make it harder because we aren't as educated as we should given Miochek, Elliot & Ginnivan intel is much more accessible & up to date.
The DeGoey and Adams in's do, in my opinion, make our quest a little more of a challenge.

Think we should win this comfortably.
Thats a fair point. I think we just differ on opinion in regards to them not being 'big outs'.

For what its worth, id probably play any three of those instead of Rayner at the moment.

Very twitchy about this.
This you ;)

Port living certainties to beat Melbourne.

I'd like to see us perform better in contested ball and clearance - we can't ask our backline to keep us in it at -18 i50s every week. But provided we bring any sort of pressure I don't see how Collingwood kick a winning score.

Our key defenders need to try to not be so clever tonight. No easy uncontested marks over the top. Be physically accountable and wear their opponents closely. Old school key defensive work. Just bring the ball to the ground and we have the advantage at ground level and can hurt them in transition.

I'll have to remind myself before (and during the game) they start fast and we start slow. They tend to run out of gas and we have done well in running over teams.

There is a good chance we will be done at quarter or half time but run over them late.

So note to self don't get too worried earlier

It would just be nice if we broke that trend early in games. The North game doesn’t count for obvious reasons.

How would you rate them on our list? Would they get a game each week in our forward line? Interested in yours and others opinions.
I think they are both good players, but more sideways moves for us really considering our own talent in the forward line.

I should also add I agree that their forward line isn't the main threat, it's in the middle where our greatest weakness is, and thats probably their strength.

However if Berry can shut down Pendles and Oscar neutralise Grudys tapwork, we should win comfortably. If that doesn't happen I think it will be a close game.

Pendles plays half back now doesn’t he?

Berry on Adams or DeGoey (when he is in the middle).

Unless our defense has a complete meltdown I think we win this. They can cover our midfield weaknesses we've had this season as we get that sorted for 2 way running and also clearances, and if we break even or win clearances we will blow them away.

After seeing Darcy Moore on a show I kinda like him, but I hope the love from the commentators over Daicos is more reserved. Lets hope we bury them so quickly they will be scrambling to find the positives :p

Agree. They are TALL in their forward line and even though we are not a rebounding team we should be bale to use it to our advantage. Most importantly will be the pressure by our midfield on to their delivery into their fifty. Our midfield step up and do that i feel we can use it to our advantage.

I agree. More time spent guarding the man and not guarding space would be great to see. We don’t want to see Andrews playing too far off his opponent and Adams always looks and plays better when he is body on body with his opponent.

We should be fine. Hard to know where we are at though, really.

If you put the Eagles to one side as an aberration their form is solid.

Really we should just win this at home, there’s no if, buts are maybes - yet, there still feels as if there are a few.. if, buts and maybes.

Lions by 32 after a tight first half.

Interesting that Woods look to have gone a little taller tonight. Will it be a slippery with the dew? You think the Fly would be across the type of ground conditions on the Gabba at night.
