My apologies re the deleted post; the notification did not suggest who deleted it otherwise I would have sent a PM.

The comment about the odds for the game was more about how it appears that Hawks are not rated a chance at all, nothing to do with any intent on gambling.

Perhaps a better option would have been to add that the tipping values on the AFL tipping website say 91% GCS to 9% HAW.

No rule breaking was intended so my apologies once again.

Good luck for the game!

It's been pointed out that the first Freo game we played over in WA was actually at 7:30pm, but that was their time. I was coming at it from a prime time angle which for the majority of Hawks fans who are on the east coast meant they were watching it from 5:30pm.

If we consider just the prime time night games Hawthorn have hosted then the last one was round 16, 2019 v Collingwood.
Other way round no?

It was 7:30 pm for us on the east coast but 5:30 pm start time for the players in the west.

Yes, you're right! :drunk: <- me trying to work out simple timezone math

OK, so the fans on the east coast got to "enjoy" some prime time Saturday night football, but the players missed out.

close the door, put out the light
the Hawks can't win Saturday night
the dew point falls and don't you know?
the sweaty ball won't go through the goals
they're wearing jumpers, wee and poo
not even one win, let alone two
these are developmental throes
just play four quarters
four quarters, oh

laddered side by side with North
Bigfooty mocks their very worth
but Meek drives back the Witts that's slow
Ginny's high tackles rewarded more
and Connor Macdonald kicks it through
to build a dream for me and you
they choose the path where premiers go
they play four quarters
they play four quarters
Very clever. I dips me lid to you.

No worries.

It wasn't me, but it would have been just the gambling content/betting odds that had it removed.

It's pretty much an immediate red flag

I don’t want to do a blow by blow account on the Wiz, but his moonboot is gone (though with some strapping).
He said he is aiming to be back in 3 weeks.

CJ, Will Day and Chad more actively participating in the drills.
Ethan Philipps and Punky running laps.

Might be in the minority but I’d love a blow by blow account on Wizard 🥰

Heading up for this one again this year. It's a good excuse to see our daughter who lives in Brisbane.

Hoping it's a bit closer than last year's game up there!

History and form says Suns. By a lot.

Although for some strange reason, completely unfounded, I have a feeling the Hawks could surprise. Only a matter of time before we are able to put those good runs of play together more consistently...

no change as expected, the cupboard is pretty bare with the current injury list.
huge ask this game, watching CEO's Bonus 1 playing CEO's Bonus 2 in Mt Barker over gather round was liking watching an all-stars game, the number of top 10 draft picks on the park was laughable.
We've gone from our bunnies one week to our bogeys the next, can't see us getting within 40 points.

I know it's not totally ideal for him but team wise I think he's a great choice to be the sub due to his versatility. If need be we can plug him in up forward or on the wing.
Not sure he’d have much impact on the game if used as a tactical sub. But out of those listed on the bench I’d have him as sub.

Sams lost the plot .
Mackenzie gets form and confidence and now he gets named at CHF.
Questions need to be asked here
What else is he supposed to do with Watson injured?

Interesting with no changes.

Cupboard must be pretty bare after a 0-4 start
Box Hill didn’t play last week and we lost by a kick.

Changes for changes sake don’t make much sense.

Hmm.

So the week off in VFL can’t mean fitness surely.

There are a few who would want to play even an average game to keep there positions for the following week before the questions start on selection.

Second time in 4 weeks there is no change.

Happy with that. Would have liked Serong to get a game but as mentioned, without box hill playing it's harder to call up someone.

Wish the AFL and VFL would do better at coordinating fixtures so you don't have half the squad not playing competitive games during the season. Very frustrating.
