Poor tackle from the Richmond defender. Should aim for the hips.
Not sure what the commentators are going on about with the Hams high tackle. Sure there is a problem with players ducking and rolling the shoulders these days, but that one was just a genuine high tackle. Hams did nothing to make that one happen.

Hams was just standing up IMO. Didn't do anything to accentuate the high tackle.

Players don't aim for the hips much anymore because the tackled player can still get arms free to give off a handball. That may have to change though if this West Coast tactic continues though. This one was a sloppy tackle though.
