Round 5 trades

Anyone doing what I'm doing with Hall and wait until next week? J.Brown should come down enough to just do a sideways trade to get him which would be great.

Anyone think this is a resonable trade??

This is my team and as everyone knows Gamble has been suspended for one week. Tippett has been doing alot of work in the ruck and wont get many DT Points. Sellar hasn't had a game yet and probably will only get a few AFL matches.

I am thinking of trading Sellar out and Trade in Hill

OUT:Sellar
IN: Hill

And then putting Hill on field.

And what does everyone think.

Palmer or Houli on??

Thinking Houli as will get more gametime with Mcveigh (or however you spell it :p) out

Who is a better prospect in my forward line, Mckinley, or Kyle Reimers?

Scoring Potential= Reimers

Amount of Games= Mckinley

Break it down and you see why Reimers is the better choice.

Disposals: Reimers
Goals: Mckinley
Tackles: Reimers
Marks: Even

The tackling stat is the important one in deciding any sort of trade between these types of players. If Reimers is struggling to get the pill, you can rely on him to make up some points in tackles. Mckinley will be forced into a key position role because the eagles forwards suck dick. This fact alone will see him get way more shitty scores than Reimers.

Great trade, can't fault it. Hill has a shitload more to make before he reaches his ceiling. As for your other dilemma, I would probably say Houli just.

I've had a first-years shocker and I only have 15 trades left for the season, but I'm in a position where both of my benched defenders are either not getting a game or are injured. This left me last week having to play Bowden without an emergency (big fat 0).

Lucky I still beat the team I was playing - just.

Is it worth sitting on this dire situation for this week do you reckon or trade out? Hartlett's one of the benchers, so I might be saved the pain if he gets the nod. There are a few of underperformers I'd like to trade out though (like Gram).

Thinking about Thornton or someone lower priced who is performing at the moment.

agreed.. seems a bit too late to get josh hill now not worth the trade if gamble is only going to get one week
i'd rather just stick tippett in for the week and save the trade

josh hill isnt far from peaking.. he was able to roam free across the wing and half forward flanks in the first few rounds. Teams have caught on that he can be damaging.. wont get the free flowing spaces he had from rounds 1 2 and 3. Id say he will hit his peak by round 6-7.. just in time to get a bottoming out gun.

Interested in your thoughts on this one 1eyed. Given the St Kilda epidemic sweeping Windy Hill and LeCras's pending return I would have thought Reimers prospects for a game would be at least break even with McKinley.

Help - thought I was going ok, then last round and scored poorly. My backs and forwards are poor - too many mid-range?
On the hope that Croad returns
I was thinking about:

Patfull or Proud >> Wonaeamirri
Lynch or Dew >> Franklin or Chapman (if make enough from defense trade)

Bock, Gilbee,Harley,Barlow,Blake,Patfull,Proud,Croad,Thompson
Ablett,Cornes.Cross,Johnson,Griffen,Palmer,Bird,Priddis
Cox,Leuenberger,Kreuzer,Laycock
Roughead,Hawkins,Davey,Akermanis,Davis,Lynch,McKinley,Jetta,Dew

Other trade suggestions appreciated.

Le Cras is minimum 3 weeks, and regardless, I would have though Hansen will go before Mckinley. Le Cras would likely take back Armstrongs spot when he is ready. I can't see Mckinley not playing for atleast the next month simply on credit for his first 2 solid contributions. Quite possible that he will play the rest of the season.

This week i will be doing my first trade,

Out - Bird
In - Wonaeamirri

The with the cash left over, next week i will do two upgrade trades,

Out - Vince and Hall
In - S.Johnson and B.Johnson

Thoughts ?

This week i shall use my first trade.
Out West, In Kreuzer, i dont think West will be rising by more than 20k in the next 2 weeks plus it will save me money on kreuzer.

Vince??
Even if i wasnt a Crows supporer I would wait this trade if you want to trade Vince:eek:

Craigy loves him and he is turning into a star.

I see where you are comming from.
I havent made the trade as I dont like to trade unless I know that, that player is playing.
IMO the Josh Hill boat has already sailed...

Wait for another cash cow. Sellar may still get a game soon, don't pull the trigger yet.
Gamble only has one game but still I dont know about this trade.

Maybe I will save the trade....

Can anyone else help me here??

I have Gamble on field but he is suspended so my bench is Tippett and Sellar(not playing)

I am thinking
OUT: Sellar
IN: Hill

So i can play Hill

Thoughts??

The thing is Gamble is only out for a week

Cox,Leuenberger,Kreuzer,Laycock

Who is you other starting ruckman (besides Cox)?

If Laycock is on your bench I would probably trade down (not sure who to) and use the money to strengthen your forward or backline.

Why would you want to trade for Hill?

He is not a keeper and he has already increased in value by $113,000.

So I think you've missed the boat getting this guy.

Exactly. If you havnt got him already, dont bother, you've missed the boat
