Has deservedly copped plenty but Wellers was bloody good tonight. Created plenty of play off half-back and took some great marks.

It was really nice to see some players who have frankly been pretty subpar this season play a strong game. Masten played very well, Wellingham is carving out a nice role for himself at the back, Josh Hill was a solid contributor again. With all the injuries we have, if we're going to play finals footy then a lot of those types are going to have to step up and be positive players.

Yeah he looks much better down back. He's good overhead, doesn't panic, and has some mongrel. Skills are hot and cold, but I think he's found his niche back there.

Sheppard and Cripps are two players I've criticised in the past, but both are starting to string together some consistently good footy.
