When Lecras was injured in 2012(?) it paved the way for new recruit Josh Hill to have a very good season. It was new and exciting, he had a point to prove, it was easy for him to be motivated. I expected Hill to have a good season and fade as the grind of week-to-week footy set in. I fully expected Hill to get dropped to the WAFL never to be seen again. What I didn't expect is for Hill to go back to the WAFL and to work on his defensive game and return to the team a far more complete player than in 2012.

Hill has always been capable of getting on the highlight reels, but the trouble is with him being more involved throughout the rest of the game. The prospect of him keeping his place long term looks pretty good right now, especially with Muzza injured.
