I have 438,900 salary remaining but I can't identify any reasonable trade prospects this week aside from doing JJ to Tucker. Potential problems are the same as many, in defense Dea, Ruggles and Adams, in mids Oliver, Davis and Gresham and in the forwards Menadue. Most if not all of them have a really low breakeven and are almost all playing so I can't decide on what to do. It feels like I would be making a trade for trading's sake as they are all likely to go up again. Team feels like it's full of holes but with a projected score of 2091 and the likelihood that they will all be worth more next week, what to do? I would like to get a premium mid in this week but can't figure who I would bin to make it happen. Fantasia also seems a good option in def but he feels like a trade that will end up burning a lot of people... Indecision is killing me!

how about Dea -> Tucker next week ?

i'm not sure Dea is ripe just yet and Tucker should be good

Dbj has got alot more to earn i think not gonna get dropped... Someone else can goto tucker next week want to see him again dea wont go big imo so not gonna make to much more

Any non-Petracca owners getting him in this week to open up a potential trade spot in two weeks?

Lots of good rookies coming through now which will be on the bubble next week and the week after (Tucker, Petracca, Keays, Smith) which means potentially no spots open to get a premo in until 3 weeks time.

Tom Lee being dropped after two rounds just shows how trading in rookies before they are named for their third game is so dangerous.
That's why I'll wait on Petracca and/or Tucker.

He is a dud though. I don't know why so many people were so keen on him. Did they not watch him play and only look at stats ?? I bet the Supercoach forum is in melt down as so many over there either got him early or had traded him in this week.

Saints fans having a go at me over there lol, I was advocating not to pick him as his JS was risky

Anyways

BIG DOUGAL HOWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have to consider him now I think with Lobbe getting dropped for him, he will play number 1 ruck, I wonder how many weeks he'll hold his spot for is the thing?

Has Boyd bottomed out yet? Thinking of upgrading Adams or Weitering to Boyd?

Also who would people get rid of first, Boyd or Weiters?

Decided on 1 trade this week:
Sheridan > Petracca (I know early but ...., and trading Sheridan but... he is a mistake)

Leaves me 390K. And enables me to start C. Mills over Sheridan with DPP.

Thoughts?

Also is Adams on the bubble?

I didn't see one person here even mention Lee in passing as an option. Plenty said stay the **** away though.

Going early is risky, but can be mitigated with an intelligent pick ie Petracca and probably Tucker.

Has a BE over 100. So given he should get ~that, should plateua and stay the same for next week. I was looking at Dea > Boyd but not yet

Dea's BE is 39 so has 10k-15k left, if that.

Worth culling slightly early if it's going to help you in the long run.

Was thinking about upgrading Davis but he is playing and I feel that I will persist with S. Gray for the rest of the season. Dea has another week before being upgraded or downgraded unless he goes big.

I reckon I will go 2 trades next week with Davis & Dea going as they will be on their bubble.

Thoughts?
I reckon Dea is nearly done myself, same with Adams. Davis probably has a couple more left in him due to his low price, but depends how he goes this week (could be 1 week, could be 3).

With Ports outs I'm going to just have to harden up with Gray and keep him also like you and hope he comes good like Barlow potentially will. Gray seems to score better when Port are either winning, or when he has more midfield time due to injuries. Then later in the year reassess once Wells and Kerridge get close to peaking in price (both should comfortably go past 400k though). 2 of them 3 will have to go at some stage as they won't be top 10 forwards, the best of them becomes F7.

Looking at taking a slight risk this week and turfing both Dea and Adams for Smith (early but yolo) and Treloar, first proper upgrade of the year, my scores the last couple of weeks have been extremely disappointing and I think the happy medium between fielding rookies, waiting for them to peak in price and how long can you wait for them before turfing is about now.

Next week 1 of McCarthy, Brown or Davis become Tucker (probably Brown though due to his 40-60 type scores that will see him peak at around 275k) and I then try and upgrade Parish (nearly done, doesn't look like scoring over 80 recently) or Tippa to either a premo forward or premo defender.

Mills becomes a premo mid later down the track unless he gets injured/has a poor performance or two, he's just starting to find some form now so will ride him out til peak price.

BE 63, AVE 73. Last 2 scores < 60.....

I do

To my understanding, "on the bubble" is a term describing before a player has had his first price rise ie. burst the bubble in his next game and shoot up in price.

I think what you think we mean is that his bubble has burst scoring wise, meaning peaking

On the bubble is referring to 2 gamers before their price changes

jep your right. Adams is about to burst and fall to ground. My bad

Mills and McCarthy still have negative breakevens, so I wager you'll be keeping them for a little while yet.
