Probably have a quandry next week. Was hoping to get through the bye rounds without trading but could have an issue in the forward line. Have Pav and Franklin out so left with Riewoldt, Silvia, Knights, Petrie, Tapscott & Matera with currently either Krakouer or Richardson.

Might be best hoping that Krak will get a full game next week after his 'rest' and then eyeing up an upgrade to Didak after Collingwoods bye somehow.

Richardson will have to go but the dearth of other forward rookies is a problem.

The ideal plan would be something like at round 8, Duigan>Hibberd, Krakouer>Didak. Fully expect something to happen in the meantime to change that though

Lack of downgrade options any time soon is becoming a bit of a worry. So much so that Hale -> McCauley is beginning to sound like a good idea to me just to bank ~110k.

It's going to be very difficult to do upgrades with the complete lack of downgrade targets at the moment.

Hopefully a couple of player will raise there heads sometime soon.

I don't mind getting Mzungu early.

In the mids you've got Ali Smith, Polec and Iles all looking decent.

Ali Smith has been a ball magnet in the VFL, he's capable I reckon.

If he's named to play again I'll seriously consider getting rid of one of my cash cows early.

Looking at two trades this week:

Richardson -> JRoo

Ryder -> Cox

But to do either of those I'll need to downgrade somewhere, and because of that, I'll probably end up doing neither.

Any info on the returns of Mzungu/Callinan yet? Was hoping they'd be coming back within the next 3 weeks but have heard nothing of VFL exploits.
