It's hideous m8
Must be the TV I'm watching on. Looks saturated as shit.

Love Adelaide's yellow jumper. A red version would be nice to see (mockup anyone?). Yellow shorts would look good as well *runs for cover*
I tried to mock up. Struggled to get the yellow, red, navy hoops to right. The order ****s with where the hoops should be.

I meant just like their current yellow and white kits with the 3 (2?) Hoops, not full hoops ala home kit.

Mind you having said that....

Red hoop is the top hoop on Away and Clash.

Also, what I did when I was doing full hoop Adelaide kits on Paint (eg yellow, red etc), with the red kit I moved each hoop colour "down" if that makes sense.

As opposed to turning on the tele and seeing another team in white?

I reckon it's only because no one is used to it. Great jumper.
I thought hawthorn were playing again, which is probably in part because BLKs colour replication on it is actually pretty good on this, making it less mustardy like ours. More coloured jumpers are undoubtedly better, but a bit more blue and red on this one wouldn't go astray. It's not a bad jumper, but I think it would be better if it were a gold based home jumper with gold shorts, or a red based jumper, which sort of used to be their thing.

Crows gold jumper is absolutely elite. The less generic white clash jumpers in the league, the better. Hope we keep our current set forever - people will get used to it after a while and it will become recognisably Adelaide.

Officially the white is our primary clash and the gold is our alternate. Its no secret I'd like this reversed, and I tend to wonder if the club does too. The white would have been fine tonight, so I find it interesting they chose to go with gold. Hopefully trying to win people over to eventually switch it.

How is it that Geelong are forced into white shorts at home, but Collingwood are not? Is it purely because of squealing from the likes of Eddie?

The double standard is highlighted all the more with the two respective games being played concurrently.
It's not a double-standard when Collingwood's jumper is more black than white as a whole. If they wore white shorts it'd help, yes, but there'd still be a lot of black, especially from the back. The AFL can't classify a jumper with black sides, black back, and white numbers as "white", especially when Collingwood have a jumper with white sides, white back, and black numbers, that is already classified as white...unless that one is able to be classified as black? :p

White shorts would help but ultimately Collingwood are wearing black (albeit with a fair bit of white) and Carlton should be wearing their clash strip just like Freo/Adelaide/Port have to.

I believe it's Collingwood that request that Carlton wear the Navy jumper.
Because Eddie doesn't want traditional football matchups desecrated by "dressups" as he called it on commentary once.

Looks good. Would be more of a contrast vs the Bulldogs.
I'm not sure I follow how red could be more of a contrast vs the Bulldogs?
The yellow is already a completely different colour from royal blue. In fact the yellow is lighter than royal blue, whereas red would be similar in lightness. Red and yellow (and white) would equally provide perfect conrast against the Dogs, because they're all colours totally dissimilar to royal blue.

Carlton/Collingwood/Essendon/Richmond do not wear clash strips against each other (except Ess v Rich). This is a core component of the AFL uniform policy.

Actually it was my mistake. Saw this picture and mistook the strapping for the shorts.

on that, i'd prefer the compression garments were in the colour of the shorts. sure, it would mean the manufacturer making them in various colours and probably increasing costs, but the skintoned ones look awful. they never match the player's colour. and what if McDonald-Tipungwuti decided to start wearing them?
