Murdered by umpires that quarter but surely it will balance out?
Williams, Ginbey and Kelly really need to do better that was an awful quarter by them.

No disputing the umps are cheating dogs who hate us, but both of their goals, the JD free, the jumper tug clearances out of the middle. All there.
Holding the ball against us in the middle twice were bizarre, but then no ping on Waterman for the most textbook HTB you'll see. Weird day.

Win, lose, or draw im still loving the competitiveness from the boys compared to the last couple of years. Theyre turning a corner and are no longer witches hats.
Hough is gonna be a gun, turning into Mr Reliable in the backline no matter how much he's under the pump.
Need more from Crippa, Darling, Chesser, and Ryan if we're hoping to stay with the Suns.

The umps have no idea what holding the ball is anymore, it's half the reason we have this issue with dump tackles. They'll ping a player a when four blokes jump on top of them and drag it in under but you can rotate a player 720 degrees and they swallow the whistle.
Biggest problem with the game is the umpiring at the moment.

Lucky that McGovern had an exceptional quarter and Gold Coast forwards couldn't take a mark.
B.Williams needs to step up in his rucking efforts, Witts is allowing the Suns midfield first opportunity at every stoppage.
Both Gold Coast goals have come from free kicks where B.Williams has completely been out-positioned by Witts.
