The midfield and Williams are getting their pants pulled down as a collective. Nobody offering anything on the way out, yet matching it with very little resistance defensively.

Then Simpson subs off Chesser, who at least was working into space as an outlet to start that quarter. Bizarre coaching decision to sub him off for Sheed.

Ryan should have been subbed. 4 touches in 3 quarters.

That was the premiership quarter. While we were at times outclasses, we we're comprehensively out worked. No forward pressure or work off the ball, , no chase, no desperation etc.
A lesson we have learn is draft quality not effort based quantity. And speed.

Final 10 minutes of that term were poor, that's what I'd call a reality check definitely.

Being up to our eyeballs in a game without two pretty important players, against a side who are weirdly good on their home deck, was at or above expectation I reckon. I reckon we'll take plenty from the first 2.5 quarters of this, and hopefully the fourth term too.

Our own turn overs killed us that quarter with Reid or without we won't be winning many games like that. That third was us of the last 2 years. Don't look and kick it anywhere. Just have stupid players all over the ground that continue to do this.
