Round 7 Carnage/Vent Thread

So anyone who traded in Rocky after his 166 in R1 has so far received: 115, 43, 132, 94, 107, and 67 for an average of 93.
If you traded him in after R2 he's only averaged 89.

Can see why you've be ticked.

Those are actually better scores than I thought given the 43 came when he was KO'd

I hope Hinkley sees how poor Rocky was when played up forward and doesn't do it again

Similar - 409/5 which feels shocking but tbh

Boak - 106 Grundy - 99, disappointing but if thatr's their low scores...
Drew - 62 is bang on par and can't complain with 73 for Duursma.
That leaves Rocky's 67.
Overall probably only 40-60 behind a half decent score and the Port rookies were always a worry.

Just need Captain Taranto to be a good call to try and get back on track.

The Port kids didn’t get much luck either. Numerous times they didn’t get the bounce of the ball, or it was kicked over their heads or they didn’t get the free kick.

I suspect one or two get a rest in the coming weeks...

5/448. Had Drew on bench. Rocky sickening and Grundy needs a spray too, wtf was that last quarter from him. Duurs died in second half but still solid overall. Crisp the shining light, the one who I was most concerned about

Rockliff is disappointing but its too soon to right him off totally (but he's no longer a captaincy option). Your side would have to be pretty good if Rockliff is your biggest concern

realistically I ain't trading rockliff next week as I'll have bigger fish to fry. operation get whitfield back in so yeah rockliff gets another go but I think hinkley needs a kick up the a$$. Rockliff is a mid, not a frickin fwd. If I was a backman playing on sh!tcliff I seriously reckon I would dance around him and sell him candy. he has the turning circle of a hummer on flinders lane.

the traders need to stop glorifying rockliff. that's 3 seasons he has let owners down.

To be fair before tonight he was a 600k mid who's averaged 110 for the first six weeks. That's not shocking he's just not a keeper. If your team is going well he's made you 100k, been solid enough and is now ready to evolve into Coniglio.

Of course my team's shite and I'll be cursing him for weeks to come but that's hardly Rockcliff's fault.

Trel balancing out Rocky. Apt name tonight, as he looked about as slow as a rock. Yet more BS sideways trades to come I fear. Was placed forward because of Ebert's concussion, so hopefully Ebert is clear and Rocky is back in the centre next week. After Adams went out, Treloar's scoring went through the roof, so there's a direct correlation there. Means that I'll have to look at moving him on after his bye. Yet another 'meh' Friday night

When he’s doing stuff all in the midfield then I’d be hiding him there too. Had Dunkley written all over it, only difference was I would never give Dunks the C.

There would’ve been about 8 times tonight team mates looked at Rocky by himself and just ignored him, not going to score well if he’s not picking those cheapies up.
