You traded Heppell out?

Are you joking?

:eek::eek:

No joke :p

Uhhhh what?!? He's the 6th highest rank defender in the game based on total points. They're not coming easy this year. Big mistake!:eek:

I didn't buy him for his scores. Essendon have had a great run and I think we were lucky he got up for last week after being sore. Bye coming up and he is very young. Too young for me to think he can score at premium level all year.

This trade is ONLY valid if you had Heppell in the mids and no way to get him into your backline. Even then I would think trading in a Hibberd/Jacobs to swing Heppell to your defense would be more profitable. I HIGHLY doubt Heppell was your most primed rookie, nor would he have been your worst problem.

I needed to do a big midfield upgrade to cover Pendles/Swan and get myself another genuine captain option. This was one of the only ways I could do it.

I see Heppell as an early fluke rather than a long term proposition. It was too tempting for me to cash in. The backline was looking well covered this week and I wanted a real premium rather than a potential.

Worst problem? Maybe not but I needed the cashflow and didn't want to get rid of Curnow/Swallow and Libba/Harris just haven't gone up fast enough.

Do you still think Montagna is a keeper?

It will look good when Heppell is a late withdrawal and Hibbo replaces him :)

Yeah Monty should be a keeper. His points per minute are off the charts at the dome.

Heppell a late out?? Oh I do hope so. When does this soreness kick in? It's already claimed a few rookies.

Went Jack > Redden and Rioli > Fyfe

Bit reluctant to trade Rioli as he was scoring well but don't know when he'll be back from his hamstring and I would have had to start Matera if I didn't trade him.

I think I would've done that trade almost any other week, but Matera could kick a few against Brisbane. Rioli should be back this week.

Perhaps but Matera has only had one decent score from memory, against Port, the rest have been pretty average.

I also wouldn't have had a forward emergency if I didn't trade Rioli and I was keen to get the Fyfenator on board anyway.

Enright really does look like a popular option this week.

Can he make his breakeven of 99?

Very hard to be able to afford a 400k+ player upgrade that's for sure.

Looks like I'm going to get that extra discount on Enright I was hoping for :cool:

next week im doing:
Matera --> Pavlich
Mckernan --> Puopolo/Hibberd.

I might be cashing in my cows too early, but im copping sub 60 scores twice in the backline and twice in the forward line every week. Really starting to hurt and after this round the leader will be 700 in front.

Going for a league win ($$).

Traded out Libba for Iles, then Duigan for Rawlings.

Yes Rawlings misses first round of finals. But I reckon I'll secure top 4 and have dbl chance.

Didn't watch much of the Suns game, but kinda got me nervous with someone saying his disposal is terrible and his JS is in jeopardy.

EDIT: Plenty of downgrade trades to come in next few weeks. Wanted to get this one over and done with since Hibberd didn't get named. Confident Rawlings is a top 6 back.

I reckon everyone who picked Iles for his job security (me included) would be pretty nervous about his job security after tonights game. His skills are ordinary.

As long as KMH continues to get a game, I'm pretty sure a well bodied man such as Iles will continue to find a gig while his teammates go down with general soreness.
