Did well not to concede more to finish that quarter, was under the pump and umps doing us no favours. We should be the better team from here on and close this out

Silvagni HTB .

Umps were s**t hot on holding the ball earlier and have just given up now.
Nah wait and see when they tackle us what happens... Like Cluggs losing the ball in the tackle - technically he had prior because of the jump, but it's a lot more ambiguous than the shit they're not paying to us

Feel like we left 2-3 goals out there that quarter but then we were quite lucky to only concede one there at the end. Big quarter coming up. It’s clear we won’t be getting any favours from the umpires so the pressure will have to remain high.

We are getting murdered in the air. Hard watching. Obligatory dump on the umps too. Some horrificly inconsistent calls

Geez, revealing stat on Fox. We’ve had 17 rebound chains from defence but only 1 ended up inside 50.

Surely we improve our ball movement in the second half.
The Rich/Zorko effect I guess. Kiddy has also been down on form and McKenna has hardly been sighted tonight so shouldn’t be entirely surprised. Would be nice to get both those guys into it in the second half.

We are looking the better side, just got to take advantage, confident we can go on with it.

Payne, Starcevich, Andrews, McCluggage, Neale, Dunkley, Berry, McInerney, Daniher have been good.

Sharp has tried his heart out but is not quite up to the pace of the game which is totally understandable IMO, I'd give it 10 minutes into the 3rd quarter and maybe sub him off for Lyons.... might even be an option to sub Ashcroft off, he has been way down tonight, might be tired after a big couple of months.

Rayner been down, get the ball in McKenna and Coleman's hands a bit more.

I don't think Sharp is playing that badly. He's still quite a small frame so he gets brushed off it easily, but he's at least getting from contest to contest well and making himself a nuisance. His work rate stats are quite good - he's leading our average speed in attack, and second for average speed in defense, so he's doing his job working up and down the wing.
