It stings that we won the flag in the men’s and have a top side in the AFLW. We played all the top teams. Hawks only have to play one, and that team doubled the hawks. Terrible setup.

Losing by 10 with one of our worst performances for the season. Meh. Cats playing +50 behind the ball is annoying in the context of what the league is trying to do.

At least they haven’t limited the home ground umpiring to just the men down at Geelong, that was horrendous.

Writing was on the wall last weekend that a result like this was on the horizon. Looks like the McClelland curse is set to continue. Evie Long gonna be something. Umps... yeesh.

The sad thing is the obvious move - which a lot of teams seem to make in AFLW - is to mirror the +1-3 behind the ball. We could have done that and then no one scores and your eyes start bleeding.
