Carlton vs Geelong: Blues by 25-30 points
-Fev is back. The young Blues have something to prove.

Hawthorn vs Melbourne: Hawks by 20 points
-The Dees list ain't that good and will be surprised by the Hawks

West Coast Eagles vs St Kilda: Saints by 20 points
-Weagles ordinary backine will be the problem. The Saints average defence should be balanced by the Weagles lack of quality KP forwards.

Kangaroos vs Western: Roos by 20 points
-Kanga's to fight back, despite the Bulldogs good form

Adelaide vs Brisbane: Lions by 20 points
-Adelaide were ordinary last week against the Dees, in one of the most unskillful games we've seen for a long long time. Brisbane will fight back after last week disaster

Sydney Swans vs Port Adelaide: Swans by 20 points
-Port are old and slow, and will struggle

Collingwood vs Richmond: Pies by 10 points
-Ordinary versus ordinary playing above themselves. Pies to sneak over the line in a low-skill encounter.

Essendon vs Fremantle Dons by 19 points
-Buttersoft Freo away from home will lose. Interestingly this is Freo's 3rd game in Melbourne, and the Weagles have yet to play a game in Melbourne. The Weagles must be wrapped with their soft draw.

:)

Supercats by 28-Too much overall class against a team that needs a huge attitude lift.
Weagles by 19-Saints have an appaling record in Subi (last won over there in 98?)
Melbourne by 15 points-Hawks will give it a shake, but in the end lack the support for Williams to kick a winning score when Melbourne have 3 proven goalscorers.
Dogs by 21-Back 2 Back road trips for the Kangas might be too much for the Roo Boys, but it is at the dome.
Brizroy by 19-Still not convinced about Adelaide kicking a winning score or having the matchup for J.Brown considering what happened 3 weeks ago.
Sydney by 10-Port don't play well on the smaller SCG and will have to combat a flood or 76
Essendon by 20-Freo at the dome-NO THANKS. Don't now how to beat Essendon in what is still a big game for them.
Richmond by 36-Richo to go beserk with 10 goals, 15 marks and 3 dummy spits

Carlton vs Geelong
Hawthorn vs Melbourne
West Coast Eagles vs St Kilda (tough one - home ground advantage wins)
Kangaroos vs Western Bulldogs (another tricky one - but Bullies confidence is up)
Adelaide vs Brisbane Lions (home ground advantage choice again)
Sydney Swans vs Port Adelaide (toughie - Port will be feeling pretty positive after their win last week, although Swans will be tough to beat at home)
Collingwood vs Richmond
Essendon vs Fremantle (another toughie - my bias + the fact we are pretty high on confidence after two good wins + I'll be at the game so they have to win... ;) )

Saints beat Freo last year at Subiaco

anyway, my tips

Carlton over Geelong - expect the Blues to bounce back. Also note that Carlton seem to like night games so far this year (won Wizard Cup and in H & A season are 2 wins- 0 losses- 1 draw)

Melbourne over Hawthorn - Dees in a very close game, wouldnt be surprised if hawks get up as we will miss miller and neita.

West Coast over St Kilda - Injury affected saints wont be able to stop the eagles on home turf.

Adelaide over Brisbane - almost 50/50. Adelaide played better footy for 3/4 last week yet were beaten. Close game.

Kangaroos over Western Bulldogs - Could the dogs string 2 wins together? Kangaroos need to win this to stop there season de-railing.

Port Adelaide over Sydney - Another tough game to pick. Port may be back on track.

Richmond over Collingwood - Richmond in good form, should go 6-2 here. Collingwood were pathetic last week and will want to rebound. But it doesnt help having played in Perth the week before and playing a side on a roll.

Fremantle over Essendon - Freo after there impressive performence against the dees, Essendon should fire in honour of Sheedy's 25, but with injury worries and coming off playing the Swans, i have to tip Freo

Overall a very tough round to pick with a lot of 50/50 games.

Carlton vs Geelong 35 pts. = Carlton will continue to lose until the players, along with their fans realise that pre season is over and the real stuff has begun.

Hawthorn vs Melbourne 15 points = Hawks to test the Dees but the Dees to get on top in the last quarter.

West Coast Eagles vs St Kilda 33 points = Eagles too quick, too good over at Subi.

Kangaroos vs Western Bulldogs 26 points = Dogs will run the Roos around in circles with their promosing young talents.

Adelaide vs Brisbane Lions 17 points = Brisbane will rely on Brown to kick their whole score.Whilst he may get a 5 or 6,that wont be enough to stop the Crows.

Sydney Swans vs Port Adelaide 7 points = Port to get their season back on track by winning a close one at the SCG.

Collingwood vs Richmond 40 points = Richmond have been quite impressive the last 2 weeks.Expect this form to continue.

Essendon vs Fremantle 55 points = Freo simply just too good over the ground. The only way Essendon can get close is if Lloyd kicks 10.

Freo will overcome essendon

Freo's midfield will smash the Bombers.

They are playing at the Dome which is goal city. Imagine a team who has kicked 50 goals in the last two weeks playing in perfect conditions. Medhurst, Farmer, Pavlich, Headland and McPharlin to go BESERK and kick 30 goals against the hapless Bombers defence.

Melbourne without Neitz, Miller, Whelan and Wheatley, and still probably Bruce will make the game against Hawthorn very interesting.

You seem to have forgotten to factor in Freo's unrivalled softness - which will be their undoing yet again. :)

Yep beating Melbourne 2 weeks ago at the G really shows how soft they are

Add J.Carr, M.Carr(didn't play last year) and L.Webster and the team is a little tougher. Oh and i forget H.Black.

We are a different team this year. Essendon won't intimidate us through the middle. there aren't a lot of lightweights running in the centre for the dockers anymore.

As much as a like Schammer, Browne etc. They are the type of players that fall by the wayside against a team like Essendon.

I'm sure J.Carr is gonna pack his bags when Essendon apply some pressure

Even Grover has been putting solid hits on players of late. Reference Collingwood game : Rhys Shaw.

The Dees are pretty soft. Lots of scratches and hair-pulling in that game. :)
Okay so first of all West Coast has a ******** backline, yet they are top of the ladder undefeated. Then you say Freo is soft after they have won 3 games in a row,1 of them when no one expected them to win and then you say Melbourne who are 2nd on the ladder as well are soft?If your statements are true then Carlton are absolutely ********house soft and again they will prove it this weekend by losing to the Cats, who are a much more talented team than the once mighty Blues but these days  !

Did you not see the Richmond game?

Just because they got fired up for one away game does not mean all their problems have been solved.

Still very very vulnerable against ordinary opposition away from home, like this week.
