The BIG questions for me this week, should I:

1. Bring in Franklin?
2. Recognise Walters as a premo Forward?
3. Bring in Ibbotsan?
4. Drop Hartlett?

Tough choices

Would love to know the answer to question 4. I feel like getting rid of him now is premature. Yes his BE is 205 (?) but he's not Westy; scores exceeding 100 aren't uncanny for him. I just get the sense that he's going to be an incredibly frustrating player to own. He will score very solid 100s and will get a lot of high 80s - low 100s but there will also be a frustrating amount of scores between 40 and 60.

For me, Franklin shouldn't even be in consideration. We know what he's capable of, and hawks have 3 simple games coming up, but one should probably also be concerned about him getting a rest during that easy run.

this is getting really hard. Lots of great targets. Priddis, Vlastuin, Lynch, Thomas, Danger, Watson, Hanley, Birchall (easy run), even bloody ibottson (sp)
Be some interesting trades this week. Basement priced premiums and lots to choose from

Neade to a Fwd or Mid Rookie on the bubble
Wines to Watson

Gives me a midfield of Swan, Ablett, Pendles, S Selwood, Sammy Mitchell, Watson, O'Meara and Evans, looking to Shoehorn in Priddis for Evans the week after but Evans may still have plenty to earn, tough choices to come :thumbsu:

Think I might go Wines ---> Kerridge that BE is hard to say no to.

He's a running a half back mate. No matter what position he's starting at on paper, he's a half back flanker. When they name Martin at half forward, doesn't mean he's actually a half forward ;)

Why would teams put a forward tag on a midfielder?

Originally thought:
Jacobs > Thomas/Franklin, etc (Cox into R1 with Leuenberger in R2)
Heath > Kent, Lonergan

But I do have 300K in the bank. But after some impressive debuts from Hutchings, Thurlow & Colquhoun. I'm wondering if the downgrade is necessary. Already got 5 premiums down back (Goddard, Heppell, Gibbs, Scotland, Hanley) and will have 5 up forward after dumping Sam Jacobs (Rockliff, Johnson, Bartel, Kennedy, ?). Rucks will be set with Cox/Leuenberger. So a 5th premium in the midfield is priority I guess.

In an ideal world I'd just go Heath > Under priced Uber Premium Midfielder...but who? No one is exactly screaming pick me! Already got Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury and S.Selwood the four best guys so far (excluding Johnson, who is a FWD and Kornes..but he is sort of irrelevant). I'd like to get Watson in, but what on earth is going to happen to Essendon once ASADA beat the crap out of them? But everyone will be in the same boat I guess with Watson. So probably Heath > Watson will be my second trade.

I have heaps of cash so I probably won't be picking up Lonergan next week and instead will trade Hartlett.

Hartlett -> Scotland/Shaw
Stevenson -> Birchall

The following week I'll be looking at Thurlow and a gun midfielder. I'm considering Neade -> Buddy but I think I'd rather get rid of Hartlett

Speaking of Martin, where is FlowersByIrene?
Uggg i was at Groovin The Moo over the weekend - geesus Martin.

Still he'll score 65 soon. But it's getting to the stage where there are so few Fwd Premiums that you could cope with that, i'm still waiitng for the obligatory SJ 58, i may have to bring Martin in at some stage.

Change of heart....Hartlett>GAJ and Neade>Priddis is now what Im thinking. Need points as am taking on our ladder leader next wk.

If all goes to plan (unlikely) following wk will be Stevenson/Heath>Thurlow and Evans>Watson.

Martin's playing Melbourne next week boys. He loves smashing teams with no midfield so I'd suggest you bring him in...

36 touches 5 goals bookmark it ;)
Had Martin all year, Very Happy so far.

Have pretty much locked in
Heath > Hanley

Then either
Byrnes > Franklin (Someone else other than Rocky, Stevie J, Martin) (could even be Goldy via Cox)
Wines > Watson

Can obviously only do 2 of these. Plan was always Franklin for his upcoming draw but just dunno if I can buy into him.

Heath and Stevenson out, Sierakowski/Thurlow/Docherty and Hanley in.
Hey mate, any chance you can head on down to Port training and:
a) Kick Hartlett in the face
b) Shoot him in the stomach
c) Throw rocks at him
d) Tell him to harden the **** up
For me?

Cheers xoxo

Somebody already did something to his stomach, he's been playing with cracked ribs for the last two weeks. He'll come good.
Source?

Would love to have faith in this as I do have other changes I'd prefer to make.
