First outing is the Preseason Cup, in which we play against the Wonders in a sudden death match. Its scheduled for early Feb .. not far away!

If the other selectors are ok with it, I'm happy with the current A list to play pre-season Rd 1. (although The Magoos could probably whip the opposition just as soundly).

Hey Jake I was watchign Waltons on telly other day and they were quoting Tennyson .. and the piece the quoted started with "He clasps the crag with crooked hands ..." etc etc

I deserved to be dropped back into the 2's for the next game. 1 goal 2, and 3 free kicks against, very undisicplined, I think I'd better practice kicking for goal, and bring a better attitude next week. Sorry Fellas.
Good first up win though, the after match function was a ripper, think I had about 10 too many VB's though. Had a real headache the next day

I want to play more at HFF. I don't like playing in defence. If not at HFF, I'll play as a ruck-rover. I didn't score in the first match but you can't use one match as the basis for my overall performance over the year.

We kicked straight, but lacked a bit when it mattered. A couple of good performances by some rookies - Caveman in particular. The Magoos cap'n coach was livid at the performance & has scheduled a Sunday morning sandhill session. As always, 3 best excuses get a reprieve from the session. (I'm President - so that leaves but 2!)

Will continue to juggle the side in next weeks praccy match. In fact its almost time I squeezed into the lace-up to see if "the magic" is still there.

Fred - you can put on the selectors hat this week.

Dropped for the second game, o.k. I put on a few kilos over summer, and missed a few training sessions, but the fact is the backline didn't deliver the ball properly. Surely they know I've been in a good paddock and need it delivered pin point accuracy. Not too low because I have trouble bending. I've started training the house down, too bad it can't play for me. But I'm here, waiting for the phone call. Must pop down to Ferguson Plaire tomorrow.
