The voting criteria is entirely up to you, whether it be quantity, quality, abusiveness, etc. The only rules are:

Sorry team, but I have been on school holidays and more or less just got out of hospital after my 3rd sinus operation in 3 years. Maybe it's true what everyone says about us being old and broken down. Anyroad, operation went well, some of the nurses were average, some of the nurses were great, morphine was ace and post op at home is a drag because they wouldn't give me any take away morphine! Funny about that.

Will get back to posting in my usual my dippy style from here on in.

Ugh 3KZ sorry you had that issue. Sinusses stuffed here too. Haven't had a sense of smell for 2 years, except recently when tried prednisolone but it only lasted two weeks. Various hospital emergency visits when I can't breathe. Really sucks. Glad to hear you're on the mend. Got plenty of morphine here at home but it would be illegal to pass any on.

A heads up.

There have been countless incidents recently of basic rules being flaunted so heavily its almost impossible to keep up.

This forum has been much easier than many others but due to the abuse and rulebreaking that is now rife I am going to be forced to return to a level much closer to site-standard moderation.

A number of you would be on holidays right now if I worked back in time as well as forward. Instead, I'm just working from what I see now forward.

If you have ANY thought something might break a rule, don't do it. If in doubt, dont do it, or PM me first and ask (its been done, it can work).

If you think you can get away with it - I would prefer you didn't test your luck.

I can't catch everything as the buddy-boy system here seems to include never reporting anything. I read some stuff, not other stuff - if I see something, I'll act. So don't scream if you get done for something and someone else doesn't. If you reported theirs, theirs would be attended to, as well.

There are a thousand ways to get a point across, or indulge in argy bargy here, without breaking site rules.

Thanks Mobbs. He picked up a bad case of Tonsilitis and his hands/lips were turning blue at times as he fought it. Had him under observation for a couple of days to make sure it wasn't heart/lung problem - scary stuff, but he is much better now.

On the BF rules, are there any recent areas that the Roys are getting close to overstepping?

Yeah if you just see its deleted and I haven't also messaged you and slapped your wrist, its generally not a serious misdeameanour. I don't know how to spell that. Sometimes I msg and simply say I deleted it and it wasnt TOO bad or was "borderline" ...

I'm a busy bugger in real life so please bear with me with consistency. If something's inconsistent, let me know, I'll try to follow up/explain ... though it usually will just mean I saw yours, didn't see theirs.

I'm copying this to that general thread, its worth everyone seeing.

I think that's one thing we do well, we're a bit more creative with our insults/taunts and don't go for the lowbrow humour/laughs.

By the way, I'm about as lowbrow as you can get ... well I'm kindah eclectic ... manybrow ... multibrow. You see it slip through sometimes.

for those fearing they're on the chopping block, think back to what correspondence I've had with them any time I've acted on something. If I seem all officious, it's probably a serious or semi-serious issue, if it was a passing advice, I wouldn't worry too much, only the "accumulation" of those instances could amount to something bigger, not the instances on their own.

If I haven't added "points", its not all that bad. Worse things, or an accumulation of things at that level, are all to steer clear of.

Apologies for my lethargy boys, having issues. One of my mates passed away last Saturday night very unexpectedly (blood poisoning) so I've been dealing with that plus knee surgery complications so I've been neglecting my responsibilities on here. Funeral is on Saturday so after that I'll be back all guns blazing, Mobbs, Freakie or Fred if you could post a side for us I'd be grateful (Mobbs, get off the wing and get in the engine room with pants). Sorry boys, I'll be back soon.
