If you're patient, you could pre-order the UK version from http://www.ozgameshop.com/xbox-360-games/rugby-league-live-2-game-xbox-360 for $61AU (free shipping). Doesn't release until November 16 though, plus I think the front cover prioritizes Super League ahead of NRL. But it's the same game and features. No different to FIFA across different regions.I have been bitten too many times by crappy Aussie sports games so I won't spend more then $60.00 on this.
Hopefully it will hit that price before next season.
Rugby challenge was very good I thought as compared to the steaming pile RLL1 was.Wow this game look's amazing. What are the chances of a Rugby Union game with such in depth features and Licenses?
Wasn't a fan or Rugby Challenge at all personally.Rugby challenge was very good I thought as compared to the steaming pile RLL1 was.
Also, FWIW it's only $79 at JB.I have been bitten too many times by crappy Aussie sports games so I won't spend more then $60.00 on this.

Oh woops, should've asked what platform.Yeah sure that. Will check on PS3.
Fair enough.$79 is too much.

Fair enough.
First impression (I never played RLL1) is I feel that the game is a bit too fast-paced (about +10%), which gives it more of an arcade-y type feel, and shies away from the realism of the rest of the game (especially compared to the slower nature of the kick-off/converstion animations). Also considering I've been playing FIFA 13 for the last week. Everyone sprints as though they're Lewis Jetta.
Visually the game looks terrific. Presentation of menus, player and stadium graphics (AAMI Park looks incredible!), all great. Career mode looks to have great depth.
I'm new to this (and am not really a League fan. Purchased this to gain some insight into how AFL Live 2 may improve) so I can't comment with much knowledge of how the gameplay fares when it comes to catching the feel of a true League game. But I'm enjoying myself thus far, and will definitely enjoy it more once I get more of a grip on everything.
Okay, thanks for the feedback. I'm a few hours in now and am definitely enjoying it. As a newb, still trying to get some sort of skill down before taking on Career or Online mode.It starts fast but players get worn down as the match progresses, especially if you use forwards well early with lots of hit ups.
You probably have an advantage having not played the previous ones as many are having issues with the controller as the buttons have changed a bit (muscle memory).
