I'll be buying the away of they don't have the huge sponsor. I'm still pissed off we use a black rabbit for home tbh.

Might want to buy one early then. I've seen examples before of teams getting a sponsor late, and then re-issuing the jerseys with the new sponsor, while the old cleanskin gets cleared off the shelves.

Happened with Aston Villa a while back.

How good does the Souths jersey look without the sponsor. Mouth watering.

They have one of the most recognisable kits in Australian sport, if they could get a better sponsor integration, it would be amazing.
Only thing I hate is it reminds me of when I was 4 (1998) and we didn't have a sponsor, and we were going broke, and we were one of the only clubs without a sponsor. Was great because my "Best & Less" cotton jersey looked almost identical (except for the missing Classic logo) to what the players were wearing.

I've still got that one, it's easily my favourite. I have the Classic though :).

Makes me want one of these.

I think this looks cool but I'm only a casual NSW supporter. How do people feel about it in Rugby League heartland?
Better than whatever the people could muster over at Lucev23's department.

Not very positive. Comments seem to agree that it is better than the last one, but nowhere near anything good.

Rough mate, also before my time there so I will take 0% of the blame haha
Hahaha wasn't having a go at you seeing you'd do the right thing and tell them off. And it was way before you as you said.
Imagine a world where every single rugby league jersey didn't have to incorporate some sort of Vee...
Union.

The sponsor especially helps push that view
Certainly, as does the chevrons. When I first saw these jerseys, thought it was for some Wests blue round or something lol.

And to make it even more confusing:

The use of the blue is actually for the community partner, Beyond Blue.

Ah yes their partner Beyond Blue who sit nicely with their major partner CrownBet
