Rumour Rumors of cat player in big trouble

if you actually believe listing him as a finger injury on an afl injury list has anything to do with a suppression order than you are a moron, its just how they have chosen to deal with it
So what are the Cats to do? Not put his name on the injury list? Then people would start questioning why he is not playing at any level despite not being listed as injured which would raise even more questions and speculation. This would inturn make it more likely that someone breaks the suppression order.
Can't believe you're making me agree with Geelong nuffies but **** you're out nuffing them right now.

thats absolute rubbish, no one would ask because everyone in the media already knows, he shouldn't be listed and he wouldn't be talked about either, notice no one is asking how long his finger injury is going to be

It's not absolute rubbish because people who follow footy would absolutely be questioning it.
If there was a Hawks player who was not on the injury list and not playing when they are best 22 I'd definitely be questioning it, as would most other fans.

Geelong have done what they think is best by reducing the amount of discourse about the injury/case, which is exactly what needed to happen with a suppression order in place. Why invite unwanted discourse at all?

discourse from who??? the journalists that aren't going to ask about or the public who already know about it or think he has a finger injury that they should be asking how is a finger injury gone this long

NO ONE IS GOING TO ASK ABOUT IT everyone already knows

So then what is the ****ing issue with them putting him on the injury list if the outcome is the same to you?

Old mate has been on this website since 2008 for an impressively small 813 posts and 50 of them are the rubbish spewed in here.

I don't imagine there's anyone in a rush to read the other 763.

So what do you want it listed as? Noting it’s no longer an injury list, it’s an unavailability list.

And he's still going. There was nothing wrong with the first post...or the second...or the third...

But the 46th post about the same thing might be a sign that you're:

a) obsessive
b) not listening to anyone or what they're saying
c) not able to let things go
d) severely f*cked in the head

My money is all of the above, but who knows. On ignore, so at least I don't have to see the same nonsense over and over and over and over and over again.
Actually my money was on Option (e) "Another troll alt of that Richmond fan obsessed with Geelong"

JUH is not listed
But the fact why JUH isn’t playing isn’t a source of speculation the club has made statements around his situation and can legally

If a Geelong player wasn’t on the injury list but not getting games who was best 22 it would cause speculation

Even if not the media directly other platforms would run rife

they already are is my point

I wouldn't either. At this point, I'm starting to think he might have brain damage :tearsofjoy:

You joined BigFooty just to post this. Did the “alleged accused” towel you up in a game of junior footy or something mate?

So either way no one is going to ask about it, everyone knows.

So what’s the ****ing issue with listing it as a finger injury?

Let me try spell it out for you

Option A - list it as a finger injury

Outcome A - everyone knows the real reason, no one asks questions

Option B - list him as unavailable/personal reasons/don’t list him at all (and whichever other suggestions have been made in this forum)

Outcome B - everyone knows the real reason, no one asks questions

So I put it to you - what’s your ****ing issue with it if the outcome is the same? We haven’t had the wool pulled over our eyes thinking the player in question may never be able to pick up a biro again, we are all able to deduce the most likely scenario here.
