Season 23 Summary


The Roys enter this match on a massive high, after celebrating @Fred’s 400th game in style with a 23 point victory over the Furies. They find themselves in 4th spot at the conclusion of 3 rounds, and a win will keep them in touch with top spot, with favourable results potentially allowing them to sneak into 1st.


The Wonders kickstarted their season last round, coming out victorious by 21 points in a shootout against the Dragons. They find themselves 1-2 so far this season, however due to a reasonable percentage currently hold the last position in the top 8. A win this week is crucial for the Wonders, as a loss will see them drop off a large chasing pack and could see them plummet down the ladder.



Players to Watch


Mooch – Mooch has been on fire on field so far this season, averaging 24 disposals to sit in 12th position for disposals league-wide. He’s also managed to average 83 Dream Team points for those SuperQoach fanatics out there.


dogs105 – Dogs has been outspoken in the early rounds about the quality of posting in the league in recent times, and is one to watch in the match thread this round. On the field, he is leading all comers for the Wonders for disposals, collecting over 23 touches a game on average to this point in the season.

Outside of Dun Lop Stadium itself, the Wonders probably have the best playing surface in the league, after their move from the Wonderland Sports Precinct out to the {checks thread title for spelling} Colosseum. Decent social rooms, too. One of the few venues in the municipality to have pokies. We're planning on getting a few soon, but we'll have trouble competing with the bingo and bridge club next door.

What's a good pokies management company in Sweet? Who did you lot run with? I was thinking of contracting Little Puppy Pokies for the job. Won't be a full pokies room, just half a dozen machines at one end of one of the pubs.

That's why I like the BJO, it's close to town where the warnets are. The Colosseum has great facilities, but there's not much else in town. Most people go down to Rasasidge for their shopping an recreational needs.
