film fridge doesn't come out often here in the SFA but is a massive passion of mine!

Has to be the Lobster for me (out of those two) KOASD was next level though.

Herztfeldt's stuff is so impactful. Sounds pretentious as **** but watching his stuff I sort of feel smothered by it. It's so 'heavy', it's hard not to get pulled into it. Everything Will Be OK comes to mind.

I haven't caught his new series either, really need to sort that.

One thing that those three and Alan Resnick do incredibly well is sound design. For such visual artists, I'm often most affected by the audio.

Ari Aster is another one who's work blows me away.
