I’m adamant you didn’t. If my memory serves me correctly, and it most often does, you were signed after season 10 for the season 11 campaign and I bowed out shortly after being involved in your recruitment.

What an astute observation.
I'd like to officially recognise okeydoke7 as the most correct poster in the history of the league.

We move into the bottom half of the competition. Familiar with that position, we welcome the SIN CITY SWAMPRATS

Well they've improved, the Rats. It's nothing to be jumping for joy about though. Let's start with the positives.
They actually have a good core group of posters. It surprises me to say it. It's been a while. spookism is still all quality, but he is now well supported by some posters with a real league presence. Posters like Close Contest, who would have to be an EKA medal contender. You could be forgiven for thinking Close Contest was a third season poster. toxic has a real aggressive streak and is pretty ballsy, albeit erratic. Millky95 has been an active campaigner (note - this is not covering up for any swear words).
The Rats' improved relevance may also come from continual puns related to Close Contest and @I Don't Care. If they had flaps on their list they may even venture into the first half of the competition. They also have the most horrible name in Sweet FA history. That gets mentioned.
So a growing core of posters and a growing presence beyond the match threads. This is the Swamprats' improvement. They are a solid match thread team to play. You can always expect engagement and energy.
Their issues are obvious. Where are the A Graders? Close Contest is emerging. Spookism is an A Grader based on quality, but do we see it enough?
Where are the controversies, the stories, the egos, the big contributions to league wide commentary/banter/media. What exactly is the Swamprats style? They're here, now. But are they doing anything? I'm not convinced yet. But for once, there is hope.
