I know you’re the self appointed grammar nazi, but in my world, the Gumbies’ errors were egregious and warranted a penalty as they have the potential to interfere with the running of the league. The grammar issues (colons and commas) deserve warnings, but not captain bans for a first offence as they were inconsequential.

But most staggeringly, for the Wonders’ damicky to vote inconsistently on the Rats and Hawks breaches, which were essentially the same…it needs an explanation. His position in the committee it now untenable.

My position was both the Phoenicians and the Smarmies broke the Rules*.

However the co-captains at East Side are inexperienced and this should have been taken into consideration with the penalty. I reckon a warning should have sufficed.

philreich , by contrast, is one of the more experienced skippers and one who has considerable experience in the development and sign off Rules and penalties for infractions. The Smarmies should be one of the last Clubs to break rules.

It was both shocking he broke the rules and then had the gall to appeal. He merited no special consideration IMO.

4 days isn’t enough to get a team sheet in?
The reason we have the deadline is to give simmers and posters time to input changes, sim the games and organise who’s available to post them. All games are also checked and approved before posting. Being as everyone has a life on weekends it’s fair to give the simming group plenty of time to get it done. Sometimes last minute shit happens and some swapping and changing has to be done.

Thats why deadline is Thurs 11:59pm (Vic Bias time)

In saying that I’m a bit torn about the Gumbies one, for sure Falconista knew when deadline is, but technically the AEDT wasn’t there so loophole and fair grounds for appeal

I’ve also heard Clod is going to start delegating the school lunch duties for his two kids who are too young to make their own lunches, one is in year 12 and the other is in year 5 of a 3 year uni degree
