What are you expecting him to say?
I guess it depends on what question he thinks he's answering. If he thinks he's answering "Can you understand why fans would be fusterated (with last week's game)?" Then that's a bit crappy but hey... If he thinks he's answering "Can you understand why fans would be fusterated (with the last x years)?" Then he should have his head examined.

After last year's Prelim disaster, the players should be breathing fire and be more determined than ever.
That won't happen if the whole club has it's head stuck in the sand.

He's hardly going to say anything different is he?

Nothing would have been an improvement. It’s an unnecessary post script that makes me think he should follow Ken out the door. He’s encouraging support for a man sabotaging his chances of reaching the goal of any AFL footballer. If he’s ok with mediocrity, he can take it elsewhere.

Or, he just wants to play next game and is towing the line because what players say in press conferences mean absolutely nothing

Hinkleys game plan to get us out of this mess.

I would literally back in Ryan Burton as a coach over our actual coaches.

Could it be that Voss wasn't our problem, then?
I thought it was pretty clearly known that Voss had done much better since he moved in to that Senior Assistant role. Didn't have the technical ability to be a line coach, but is great as that motivational leader that brings everything together.

Or voss just fell into a system that has no small mids.

Boak is at best shorter than all the other mids carlton use.

Voss froths a massive contested midfield. And he got one.

I’m not sure where the idea that Voss was our problem came from but I suspect he was just a highly visible scape goat for failings of the entire coaching box.

Much like the playing group, the coaching panel has churned through a significant number of names over ten years with only one constant remaining.

If we’re still failing and others are succeeding, then the constant needs to be removed.

We saw it a long way back and I think certain groups within the club saw it a few years back, by the end of this year it’ll only be a few who support Ken within.

Sack him.

You could do a case study on this when it's all said and done. Coaches clearly hit the wall with supporters regardless of ladder finish by about 7 years tops. Pushing it further than that without a premiership is toxic.
