This was a couple of months ago.

Ditts reported that "I think they are already preparing for life after Ken Hinkley."

"While stressing this is a 'rumour segment'... People I'm talking to around the club, both parties are kind of moving towards [Hinkley leaving]. I think the GWS mail is good."

It would be a great move if he decides to move to GWS. Ken will have less pressure living in Sydney and Port will get a fresh start.

Believe it or not, there are people at AFL House who rate him in some capacity. Perhaps they'll bring him in for 2 or 3 years to tighten up a few things then move him on for a real coach. That's what should have happened here.

I fear a protest will only be dismissed as more white noise. I would never under any circumstance advocate violence in any way, shape or form, but I feel the only way to be heard is a full scale riot.

Still, we all need to be absolutely RUTHLESS in keeping up the pressure. They will crumble, and they cant hide from it forever.

The next few weeks will be interesting depending on results. A few more losses and the screws will be tightening, particularly if those losses are against Essendon and the Crows. Sitting on 12th and Ken has finally had to concede the season is over with three games to play. Essendon play West Coast this week and if they win that game and then beat Port they will leapfrog us on the ladder. The lowest Port has ever finished with Ken is 10th (2016, 2018, 2019).

I don't know, maybe it's due to my time away from football this year, not going to any games, not prioritising it, and putting my energies into other pursuits,, but i'm just not feeling as negative as a lot of you appear to be.
I am almost completely convinced that, not only is Hinkley gone, but we already have his replacement signed and sealed, or close enough to.

Please be right.

Even my lad said the club can go and get ****ed while Donuts is there and he really lives and breaths Port, now he has a new baby he's found it easier to pull away from the club.

It's like a rollercoaster, hopefully Hinkley has agreed to coach GWS but asked the club not to say anything until seasons end
