Appointing Hinkley coach-for-life is the worst thing they've done, but this really shows just how comprehensively the board and executive has failed our club.

Long after Hinkley and Koch are gone, we'll be left with this generation of fans without knowledge of or respect for our club as an institution; its identity, symbols, and history. At least until they drop off (which most of them undoubtedly will).

We all want to hear the club come out now and say he's going, but in reality that isn't happening yet. "He's contracted for 2023" is just their way of skirting around the issue, and probably the surest sign he'll be getting moved on. If "he's contracted for 2023" suddenly became "Not only is Ken contracted, but he's the best man for the job and he will 100% be seeing out the remainder of his contract", then i'm move around a little uncomfortably in my chair.

Maybe they're unpalatable, but I don't imagine Hinkley's gently protruding nipples are actually toxic unless he starts lactating.
