The Richmond of old would have folded like a pack of cards (hell I thought we were gone) once the bombers got 10 points clear, but under Wallace and his run and take them on dont worry if you stuff it up game plan we came back and got the 4 points.

stick that up ya clacker 76 gamer :thumbsu:

Look ... lets not get to carried away yet . We have a long way to go .

But , the unmistakeable trademark of Richmond sides of the last 20 years is when the acid is applied and we are tested on the scoreboard , our game plan has folded like a deck of cards and we collapse in a heap .

Two weeks in a row we have seen the boys stick to the game plan . They kept running and they kept attacking , even when the bombers asked us some serious questions in that last quarter .

For that alone i am very happy .

We have a long way to go ... our skill level is at times effen disgraceful , we turn the ball over ridiculously , but cast your minds forward a year or two when we get our skills right and we weed out a few more duds and our youngsters have the experience under thier belts ?

The gameplan is starting to work , you can see it ... HELL , i reckon it the first time in 20 years i have even seen a real game plan at Punt Rd.

Good reason for optimism .

We are going to get some beltings this year , i`m sure of it . But you can see what plough is doing and he has my 100% commited support because i know he is on the right track . I can see the change . No more of the Stodgy stop start stop start stodgy bullschit that we have seen for the last ten
years ... it`s out the window thank christ .

I too am very surprised that my post carried on for so long - TW is obviously a contentious topic.

Truth be known, with us at 2-3 record as opposed to 0-3, I'm not as angry as I was when I made the orginal 'Sack Wallace!' post. Whilst our skill level is dreadfull (which is, at least in part, Wallace's fault), we were hard at it in Brisbane and on Friday night which was good to see, as was the improvement and development of a few of our junior players. Most of the time there was cohesion out on the ground which suggests that the players understand the game plan. So I don't think we should sack Wallace - not this week anyway.

However, as I have said all along, if Wallace does not deliver continual improvement, if things stop heading in the right direction, his future with the club should be discussed.

In other words, TW must remain accountable.

See this is where i find it strange that someone who claimed to be involved in the RFC come out and start a thread stating we "should sack wallace" not realise that it would have a flow on effect within the rank and file supporters of this club that has endured such pain and misery for the last 1/4 of a century, by stating that you had involvement within the RFC, people were going to question where this attack was coming from and why.

I think you are been quite disrespectful to the playing group and coaches if you say about your involvement within the RFC is true, you would understand the amount of grit and determination that has gone into turning around a horror round 1 game.

It seems you want to see a more rapid improvement within the playing group which will not happen when we have continued to turn over the list in the last 2 years, great if you want to go back to recruiting other clubs cast offs and wallow in the middle order or do you want to do a complete refit. I know what i want and im sure Terrys plan isnt at all about the first option.

You continue to bring up the "terry held accountable" line quite often sorry but you dont become an AFL coach without ever been held accountable, and you seem to undersell TW and what he wants to achieve with the RFC, his decision to sign with this football club was not taken lightly ;) he knows what he wants to achieve with this football club as do the board members.

This whole thread has gone on for a while and 76 gamers first post in the thread was disgraceful. But there has been quite a lot of interesting dicussion in this thread and I think even 76 gamer has pulled back quite a bit from his first post. That first game againt the bulldogs brought a lot of negative emotion to the surface. It serves a useful reminder that there are still people around that will white ant at the first sign of things going wrong. But at the end of the day, this post by IDGAF sums it all up perfectly. :thumbsu:

You ars 76.

Go fu kc yourself .

hahaha I am so glad the swans never got TW on board. I am sure, no positive that we would be into our 73rd year without a flag had the great man roos not been there.

Maybe he should spend less time at the solerium..i mean does he go with browny and they get a 2 for 1 offer?

Anyway give him at least another year. Its true he doesnt really have the cattle to work with atm and maybe one more dud year and a few nice draft picks and a flag for the tiges in 2008! :D

One thing that puzzles me is Richo. Why o why is he still there?

Diego, get back to the Swans board. Id have Richo over your dud full forward any day any time.

Idgaf, not getting carried away champ, I still think we are pretty average actually, but its just good to see the team sticking to a game plan no matter what the circumstances are because they believe in it.

We are pretty average - let no-one get it in their heads that we're not. But we are seeing the "incremental" improvements in the areas that are most important - the kids. That's what i'm celebrating. But every week is a week by week proposition and, as we've said before, we will be up and down in form. What i'm luving is the attacking style - lots of grunt instead of limp-wristed efforts of the past :thumbsu:

Just a bit of the subject, but is there anyone else here that sees a striking similarity to the Blues and us in the dark Spud days, and how they go with their opponents for a half and then completley capitulate?
Wow, so they are paying 800 large to expertly be manouvered into the no. 1 draft pick position huh? ;)

He's had one full year and I think we've seen enough of his second year to know that TW is just not in the supercoach class. It's obvious that he doesn't understand the game, why waste time with him? He's had his chance, get rid of him!
Just RALMFAROOOOO @ you

In his second year .... 8 rounds in , has finally re-emerged and shown the footy world just how good a coach he is .

Kudos plough and hats off to you :thumbsu:

Keep it up

Yeah, thank God Tezza doesn't understand the game LMAO lol
76 Gamer, where are you?
Why aren't you man enough to come out and admit you were wrong?
What is happening with the rumblings at the club, are people still upset and still want him out
What a gutless wonder you are to come on here and then suddenly disappear.
Takes a lot of courage to admit you were wrong on a place like this - i expect we've seen the last of you :D

Not to mention the various gameplans that will be unveiled along the way.:thumbsu:

More credible if you come on here when we lose. Anyone can post sugary stuff when we win.

Dont worry too much about hiring a PA. Just make sure you wont need to be flogging around your own CV next year.
