I think the point that everyone is missing is that in relation to us, its not banned. That is they couldn't possibly charge us with it and be successful. Yes, its banned, but asada ****** up in passing that information to us

I bloody hope your right well I hope the club has some proof of this....

I just cant deal with this any more, it is so frustrating. Seeing my hero as a kid, a champion of our club and our club be in this situation is very upsetting, for god sake I even teared up in Hird's last game he meant so much to me. I can't see us coming back from this and not having this hang over our heads.

pokemon cards :p

The AFL just played their Venusaur, and we have a Charmeleon with a lot of energy cards attached on the bench. Do we have Charizard in our hand? Vlad will find out very soon

Well come back from this and taking on every **** that get's in our way!

Shes right though. I don't know why its so confusing. The bloke who said that AOD was not a banned substances is a bloody Essendon consultant for god sake. WADA have made numerous statements along with ASADA saying that its prohibited.

On another note, the AFL should have said, 6 bloody months ago that NO ONE is allowed to talk about these issues, as soon as ASADA got in thats when all this bullshit media circus should have stopped. It has almost destroyed our club, the year and the finals. I cannot for the life of me understand why the AFL did not flex their muscles and stop any media publication on the issue

Not a fan of that direct quote from the WADA code that says S0 is irrelevant if S1-S9 comes into play?

He was also formerly on the AFL Victoria Anti-Doping board/commission/whatever it is.

He said without question he asked ASADA, early this year, about the status of AOD and they told him that it was not prohibited, was not dangerous, and was not performance enhancing. Just because he is an Essendon consultant doesn't mean he would blatantly lie about this. ASADA choose their words very carefully - they have only said they did not permit anyone to use it; they have never said they didn't tell anyone that it wasn't prohibited.

ASADA ****ed up and are trying to cover their ass. That's why they told the players back before their interviews that they would not persue the use AOD. There was a massive difference between WADA's stance on AOD and ASADA's stance on AOD at the time we used it.

Which is BS.

1. Doesn't matter whether it is actually banned or not - the only relevant point is that Essendon asked ASADA whether it was prohobited, ASADA said it wasn't, and then said the same thing to 17 other clubs, the AFL and the ACCC. So anyone who tries to pursue charges of any sort based on this can GAGF.

2. Garnham is not paid by Essendon.

Guys once we are finished with the AFL, we will be writing the fixture... We will probably also have naming rights to the league, and own Etihad stadium...

And Caro is Farfetch'd one of the worst characters in the game

Caro is definitely Porygon. Weird, strange-looking and totally useless.

So tonight, on National TV Caro has said that :
  1. We'll not play finals this year
  2. ASADA already have enough to issue infraction notices on our guys, but are waiting to exercise their new powers, and interview Dank.

The AFL wanted Essendon to accept a series of penalties which included exclusion from the 2013 finals, the loss of draft picks for two years, a fine of more than $2.5 million and a suspension of 12 months for coach James Hird.

The AFL can go and suck a heck.

I'd rather watch Essendon kick it around in Div 3 Reserves of the North Kimberley Amateur Football League then cop those sanctions without a fight.
