Geelong need a mid, he's a country boy, a second and parfitt gets it done, gold coast can't afford to keep him

Gippsland (where Neddy is from) is 3 hours further away from Melbourne than Geelong. So your theory doesn't make logical sense

Similar to Henry, if he goes, I'm interested to see for what value. IF he had be playing his whole career to date as he has the 2nd half of this year, it's top 10 pick and change right? So how much do his performances in a smaller sample size impact his trade value? Surely GC should be getting at least a pick in the back half of the 1st round with how good he's been?

I’d happily throw pick 19 at him if it came down to it. Dew not unleashing him is absolute idiocy

I think the Saints would be happy to give their 1st round pick 10-14 (1260 points) for Flanders. That or a collection of 2nd and 3rd round picks (1500 points) to help GCS get the points required for the draft. I seriously hope we are knee deep and have a big contract offer in front of him?

Giving our first for Flanders would be a shocking move.

Why not Worpel from hawks instead, twice the player Flanders is with a established track record and right age profile. Yet to sign his contract, even though quite likely he extends for 2 more years to take him to FA.

Your honour, may I pls present the data

career data between two players

one who has been well established for years

the other who has only just begun breaking out in the last month or so

compelling argument to be sure.....

All I seem to read on this draft board is fellow hawks fans talking up Worpel's trade value. Can we please stop, it's embarrassing.

Sam Flanders is looking the goods, and unfortunately he keeps bumping up his trade value with outstanding performances. Will be quite a few coming for his signature.

I was responding to an exact point, the below one. The data backed me up, rest is problem with people who get triggered by facts. It is embarrassing.
He isn't close to twice the player.
Your data is flawed. Maybe compare Flanders last few weeks since Dew has left… this is the player he can become when given the opportunity. His upside is huge.

How? the point I refuted above was not made for last few weeks. Infact Worpel shows consistency over a far longer period of time, let Flanders do it on same length to be equal to Worpel & Worpel has a B&F in his kitty.

Plus Suns have a better fwd line, Worps effect will be even more acutely felt when he has a similar or better one. Not to mention have mad runners like Touk miller to support him.

I like Flanders but from being a late 2nd round pick 4 weeks back to being rated like below is laughable. People have too much recency bias & ignoring the wider body of work. We don't know how he would react at another change of circumstance.

Why are you so vehemently trying to offload Worpel then. Shouldn’t you be giddy that he’s yours and you’re lucky enough no other clubs want him?
