Given the ludicrous interest in Ben McKay, should not Sam Frost agents(& HFC) get in the ears of those clubs given the likelihood he may not get regular games in 2024( or even rest of 2023) with the progress of DGB and likelihood of FS pick McCabe adding to Hawks defensive backline.

Surely Frosty can do a far better job holding the fort for these clubs for 2-3 yrs than McKay can even dream about.

Frost is contracted till 2024 and if Sydney want him, their picks in 40's should get it done. Hawks are looking for later picks for points or get into deals for GC's top pick.

Has had a very good season and is among Sam's favourite given he does the team tasks well even though fans get upset with his helter skelter take the game on mode. Has been able to keep oppo KPF quiet in most of the games played.

North will do well to have Frost irrespective of whether McKay plays or not.

Mckay was abominable while Frosty showed them how it is done. Cheap get for teams in flag window

Frost is actually pretty serviceable as a 3rd tall/medium defender but he isn't a KPD. He has the speed and agility to go against the little guys but lacks the height/strength to go against the KPDs.

He's been shoehorned into a KPD role because we have better players who can play the 3rd tall role, and we need senior bodies as it is.

He's a battler. An honest player. He's fun to watch. He's frustrating.

I would rather bring Boomer Harvey out of retirement and play him at full back.
That would make as much sense as North’s current list management. So it’s on brand.

Frost is a serviceable lockdown player. Especially with Logue now done for next year. With no McKay your best big defender is Corr.

Unless you guys manage to pick up someone else between now and then Frost would be a logical stop-gap player as your other players develop and would help shore up your defence.

We are in all sorts of trouble if Sam Frost is the answer to our prays.

He has played 1 maybe 2 decent games this year. A 30 year old below average defender should never be mentioned in any list management talks the club has.

Frost and co are the big reason the Hawks are 3rd last and in a free fall - not sure your list management is the envy of any club.

He’s played more good games than that, people just point to his errors and write those games off, regardless of who he’s held.

He’d be North’s best defender on form.

Rubbish - Frost hasn’t got a coaches vote since he got 2 way back in round 6. McKay has had 13 since then.

That’s says more about North than it does about Frost.

Played his best game, probably ever, but we have to look at who Hawthorn were playing.

For people mocking him being worth a pick in the 40s, how many picks in the 40s each year end up having successful careers playing in to their 30s?
