The last CCTV footage of her is leaving her house according to police. At the end of the video it says catching her leaving the address not just in the driveway.

About 8.35 on the video.

Thanks, appreciate it.

It’s Facebook so I take it with a grain of salt, but seeing as it’s near the golf course where the last ping was, I thought it might be something.

If they find something of hers, they can start checking all the CCTV nearby.

Whisper is husband had debts with undesirables, didn’t heed their warnings and now living with the consequences. If true, doubt they will be finding anything…..

There's a couple of unsubstantiated rumours around Ballarat atm, which I wouldn't repeat on here as they're just that.

Do you have anything to support yours?

Come on, spill!

Hardly worth it, people saying "I heard... this, I heard... that" from a friend/work colleague. I know Ballarat can have a small-town "everyone knows everyone's business" feel at times, but the two I heard today sounded like Chinese whispers, and one of the 'sources' (being generous!) sounded vague and like they were adding details while repeating their rumour. The other one had the wrong business name to start with, so lost my interest pretty quickly as well.

Looks like they have a lovely home on a decent sized block. I’m surprised DM hasn’t given us a house price.

From my dealings with their business, it certainly looks like it does well (going back to my first contact with them about 6-7 years ago). They're a preferred RACV repairer, and a number of mechanics and at least one 4wd outlet in Ballarat recommend them.

I wonder how many posts on here will get picked up by DM tomorrow!

Yep, people run along YFR, often on the road edge though as there's no path or track. Each time I've seen them when I've been driving, I've thought how dangerous that is. Could be a hit and run where she's been flung into roadside vegetation, abduction, any number of scenarios along there. Or even medical episode where she's moved off the road and collapsed out of sight.

Cars gun it along that road too. My money would be on this scenario, like a hit & run. There's no shoulder at all on YFR, but any east/west facing roads at that time of the morning would potentially have the sun still very low in the sky creating blind spots for drivers from the glare. The search seems more Buninyong related though, which means she's already past the YFR section. Strange case.

Would be surprised if its the husband did it.

They have CCTV footage of their driveway with her leaving the morning of. One look of the husband can tell you he isn't catching her on foot and presumably the same CCTV footage rules out him getting in one of their vehicles and going after her.

Even if he had another method (had another car parked elsewhere, went on foot, managed to know which way she was running and find her before she went off track), presumably kids were at home and would've known he went missing.

Which would mean the only way the husband could be involved is if he hired someone else or very elaborately planned a way to do this AND got lucky (in which case I would imagine there are many bread crumbs).

You shouldn't be pointing the finger at family members with no evidence whatsover.

Statistics say they did it. Evidence.
Watching the husband speak again I don't think he's guilty. Looks legit, not something you can say for killer husbands like Baden Clay.

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get information from telecommunication experts?
Interesting this conundrum.

I was hiking in the bush with minimal signal a couple of years ago and entered a clearing that was at the end of an access road, to my surprise after not seeing another human for 3 days there was a full group of ses, police search and rescue and detectives in the area about to start a major investigation.
They briefly asked us our particulars and told us 3 days ago this VIP had gone missing and they 100% tracked the phone to HERE .
It's within 180 metres of this spot said the officer in charge as they proceeded to search.
I asked the officer how they were so certain and he said " we do this all the time and using this technology it never fails.

2 days later the person and phone was located 36 kilometres away safe and sound.

Yep modern technology and police.

It seems like the police have missed or are missing a critical piece of information here.
With the available technology, if everyone is telling the truth, she should have been found by now.
They do need to follow the Ron Iddles mantra:
Accept nothing
Believe nothing
Challenge everything

Something does not 'add up' here. Someone has concealed or corrupted evidence to mislead police and searchers.
The last phone ping may be false or a red herring for example.

Ron Iddles quote.
Funny, I was just thinking about him. In his program last week, a woman was shot. He first suspected the husband - ruled out. Then the boyfriend - ruled out. Turned out it was mistaken identity - wrong house, wrong woman.

So endless possibilities.
