Saw a good chunk off the game on redzone, cant stand when they screen rank games ahead of ours.

Avoided the trap game before the chunky part of our schedule.

Purdy has a day out and made some money throws, and is working his way through his progression to find wide open targets. 3 TDs for 333 yards, and a perfect paser rating.

Seahawks on the short week, with the Rams knocking them over we have a chance to open up a gap, plus swing some tie breakers our way.

Still not sold on brock think his a flat track bully. Against the good teams or good ds he crumbles only plays well with a lead. Need him to get a big come from behind win against a good team like the eagles before I will consider changing my mind.

I gotcha and it's my one reservation...however you could global word replace Purdy with Shanahan and your statement is equally true.

Shanahans statistical window is far greater than Purdys.

Edit: global word replace Brock works too 😳

We'll have a better idea in a week and a half. Can't see Philly melting like the Cowboys did.

Even though we've been drilling teams with big early leads this year, still a few examples of tighter situations last year.

Purdy was pushed last year with the Seahawks wildcard game. 10-0 start then trailed at half time 17-16. Led an 8 min drive 75 yards straight after the break for a TD, defense the forced a fumble and the Seahawks collapsed.

9-9 against the cowboys going in to the last quarter. Held on for 19-12.

The shootout against the Raiders. A tough Thursday night game against Seahawks with the oblique injury.

The defense playing well is just as responsible for looking after Purdy as Shanahan.

Today the D were awesome. Even when under pressure they were 'bend don't break' with key sacks and takeaways. Only gave up 2 FG, stopped drives with huge sacks (knocking them out of FG range or preventing going for it on 4th down).

That allowed the offense to have a couple of poor drives at the start of the 2nd half, preserve the 2 score lead, and not let them right back in the game.

Tbf he was leading a comeback win against a good Browns team until a game winning FG got missed

That might be the best performance in beating another contending team that’s happened this season - although it’s difficult know if you’re just biased when it’s your own team. I also might reserve judgement until after next week, as if Dallas beat Philly up as well then it’ll show that all of those close wins they’ve had only covered up that they’re nowhere near as good as they were last year - on both sides of the ball.

Being one of the best teams in December is one thing, I just hope we don’t see any injuries to key players that impact the playoff run. But they are in it up to their eyeballs on the basis of the past few weeks.

What a great win. D did a great job holding them to FGs early before the Offence got rolling.

Deebo walked the talk. 3 TD a ton of yards after the catch.

CMC was as clinical as always.

Purdy was brilliant. After the horror of the injury last year, then to go 3 & out on the first 2 drives with the O Line disintegrating all around him, and to have negative yards in the 1st quarter. No panic, and he got going with some clinical pases and ruages. To finish with 300+ yards and 4 TDs and no turnovers.

I've heard the coaching staff talk about winning the 4 minutes around halftime. The chance to protect a lead or break a game open.

Today we were perfect taking a 1 point lead to 15 and it pretty much was the game breaking moments.
