His statement about him not only winning a Brownlow but also having a chance at winning a Norm Smith was ridiculous and where was he heading with the Tiger Woods question?

Sandy was horrible. There's a reason he doesn't call games anymore and that's because he's well passed it and out of touch with the game.
They should have had Commetti hosting, he did well with the Skilton/Murray interview and should have utilised him more.

As far as the Tiger Woods things goes, I'm pretty sure Sandy was trying to point out now that Gaz has one a Brownlow he is right up there with the elite sportsmen of the world, and perhaps Tiger Woods would want to meet him. Poorly executed attempt at a plug wrapped in a question...
His question about being shattered last year was pretty hilarious and the Norm Smith comment probably was along the same vein, and almost intimated what many people think about Jnr... it was almost a roast!

that pregnant pause just after the applause died down from the toast, with sandy looking at gary like he was having impure thoughts and gary looking back at sandy with a "err, what?" look on his face... that was just baaaaaaad television.
He makes me think of the Eagles in the early 90s. Not a good image.
