Good luck to all participating in Super Coach this year:)
Please post yours and why.
Cash cows -
Back - Adcock
Midfield - Coghlan (not convinced yet)
Ruck - Hampson - should shoulder the ruck load, and has beefed up.
Forwards - Henchsell, roaring back from knee

A Davey - too pricy
Haselby - too pricy
thoughts?

Adcock - a lot seem to be jumping on him but he couldn't back up his 2007 with a good year last year so I am wary.

Coughlan - going nowhere near that just too injury prone for mine

Hampson - I'm not picking any Carlton rucks as it is too hard to tell who will get game time - there are four of them - Kreuzer, Cloke, Warnock and Hampson.

Hentschell - wait and see how he goes in NAB Cup.

I'm waiting till after NAB Cup to select my middle of the road players, but one who I think will fit in very nicely to the Essendon midfield will be Skipworth. B & F for Bendigo and has experience at this level.

Higgins - Biggest bargin of the year. Even if he averages 75 he will still go up to the 350k mark.
Out of curiosity, why do you think he will average 75? He's only ever scored 75 half a dozen times in his short career.

Mckay - Adelaide
Rich - Brisbane
Yarran - Carlton
Beams - Collingwood
Lucas - Essendon
? - Freo
Hogan - Geelong
Ellis - Hawthrorn
Petterd - Melbourne
Ziebell - North
Gray - Port
Vespremi - Sydney
Hogan - Geelong
? - Westcoast
Everitt - Western

Dangerfield - Adelaide
Rich - Brisbane
Yarran - Carlton
Sidebottom (if named) - Collingwood
Gumbleton (Lucas is more of an investment rather that a cash cow) - Ess
Hill (big wraps, compared to Michael Long) - Freo
Hogan - Geelong
Muston (been talked up, but injury prone) - Hawthrorn
Petterd, meeson (one less ruck now white is gone) - Melbourne
Ziebell, swallow - North
Davenport (ex-geelong who tore it up in the VFL)- Port
Vickery, Raines, coughlan - Richmond
McEvoy - St Kilda
Currie (prob back up ruckman to jolly) - Sydney
M. Brown - Westcoast
J. Grant - Western

LOL just LOL
Meeson is rubbish but if u want a way to upgrade a mid ruck to a cox later in the year, he should give u a nice profit as he is the same price as draftees. then u can downgrade him 2 someone like currie or vickery later in the year

Higgins wont average anywhere near 75
he wont avg 75 but he is priced at 223,400 and that is a bargain, plus he has had a ripper pre season. plus if u name him in the fwd line, as he will prob play half forward/midlfield, he should score quite high and therefore make a handy profit in the end

Because he has had a full pre-season for the first time in his career, he is moving to the midfield, he has bulked up a lot, built up his running and has been dominating at training and match simulations.

He has also been inducted into the leadership group and given Westy's number 7.

Higgins wont average anywhere near 75

With your psychic skills that 25k is as good as yours.

He is quite possibly the third most talented player in a third placed side.

He was the first player I picked.

Good summary but don't be surprised if he does get 75

I'm on Missy for my forward line. Don't know much about him to be honest, just going on by what you guys (and Bulldogs fans) have been saying about him.

He sounds like this years Porps and I had him last year and didn't know much about him either, just went on the hype on him and gut feeling! :D:thumbsu:

Being a bulldogs supporter i can see why you picked him as you may know more about how he is travelling than me.No one is questioning his talent as i know he is a talented player but i just have my doubts about his consistancy and also whether he can withstand playing a midfield role.I doubt he will play midfield for long periods of time which may limit his scoring potential
