This is getting ridiculous. Why is it so difficult to have a proper review system? How many f*ck ups have to happen for the AFL to do something about it.
It doesn’t matter that Essendon won by 6 points, the consequences of that goal changed the whole game. AFL needs to address this, but they probably won’t because there completely incompetent

Only logic is that they had another angle which wasn’t shown but if not, absolutely no way that could be overturned from the umpires call.

If people are going by Lynch’s reaction then you have to dismiss the goal umpire’s reaction, who was in the best spot, and called a goal. Not saying he’s right, but you can’t cite Lynch and ignore the goal umpire. Outrageous that was overruled. For what it’s worth, if I had to choose, I’d say it was a point too, but I’m watching on a tv in Melbourne. But this system has been a sh!t show since day one.
