Lets see how you go tomorrow as you have played no one yet but I couldn't see any more than 3 players from Scotch getting a game for Haileybury
We are by far the best side just ask any coach that we have played
Every player plays TAC Cup VAFA or VFL that is the whole 21 not just 3-4
You seem to have a good knowledge of both teams, who would be the 3 players from Scotch that would make the Haileybury team??

Just saw the Haileybury game, after watching the Scotch game yesterday and believe that this match will be an awesome battle. Though i did not believe Scotch performed very well though, only beating Geelong Grammar who are a bottle of the ladder team by only 5 goals. Haileybury beats St Kevins by 130 odd points. A big thng will be if Scotchs full forward can produce with some goals as last time these two teams met Haileyburys full back Erikson held him goaless and he did not have any influence at all.
Is at Scotchs home ground which means they will have a big support base there, that may help them go stride by stride with Haileybury.
My tip:
Haileybury 13.12.90
Defeat
Scotch 11.10.76

Scotch had Smith, J.Rioli, Djekurra, Sheetz and Porter out for the GGS game which attributed to the lack of structure. Still a pretty average effort from Scotch but not a true indication of their skill at full strength.

Last year V Hailebury Jacobs was coming off sickness and it was his first game for about a month so hopefully this year he will be able to perform better having scored around 20 from his last 3 including 8 against Xavier.

big game coming up, hopefully both sides have their best teams in so none of you little sh:thumbsu: ts can start grabbing for excuses as soon as your team loses. haileybury fb v. scotch ff will be good aswell as the battle in the midfield, scotch have got class but haileybury have got brute strength and animal instinct in driscoll and chadwick

Yeh will be a ripper of the game, would have to say that Scotch's players will need to be at the top of their game and will need their best 3 or players to absolutely have ripper days.

Yeh and i agree with Footsteps hopefully both teams have their full lists in so that when the team wins the other team cant complain, like Scotch did last year.

DUde....wut about Haileybury's yr 10's??? I wonder who will manup on Vickery, Piggin, SMith, Steen, Perri, Lynch and Johnny Nic, and Kyle Martin??? Any thoughts?????

Smith, Lynch and Martin probably won't play, due to vic metro trials if they get thru

Are all those players in the team yet for sure. I mean have they actually posted up the 25. I am sure Lynch and Smith will definitely get in and Martyn is porbly a 95% chance, also Vickery is a great chance to get in aswell.

They'll all be missing against scotch, as all 4 are in the final metro squad of 31 as of todays cuts, and the final selection game is on the 15th July

Haileybury's Line Up

FB: Hellier Erikson McIntyre
CHB: Luxa Comben Tunik
C: Hill Sheldon Driscoll
CHF: Keady Francis Niccopolous
FF: Collins Gilder Saccuzzo

Followers: Andrews, Chadwick, Beckwith

Bench
Lillie
Kibby
Piggins
* 4 U/16 Vic boys wont be playing. Have been replaced.

Would be very interested to see Scotch's team and how they will line up against Haileybury's. Will be an amazing match. With probably two of the strongest teams in APS football over the last decade. Should be a reasonable size crowd as Scotch claim to have great school spirit and support!

Can someone please post Scotchs team as so we can see the big match ups!

With Scheetz and Porter injured in the last Scotch game vs Geelong Grammar last term, it'll be interesting to see how these 2 key position players are replaced.

Less than a week til the big game.

Haileybury better be on their game as Scotch will come out firing.

This match is scholarships vs school spirit.

Blueboys, Bigmomma etc.

What happened today?
Scotch 44 vs Haileybury 41.

Haileybury showed no spirit when the chips were down and basically it was a deplorable effort.

They are nothing more then soft front runners who can't handle the heat.

What a joke of a school.

LoL!

Haha you blokes are all a bunch of tossers. If Haileybury are so weak and soft and played so bad then how come we only lost by 3 points then. Looks to me as though you are saying we are weak, but then what does that make Scotch. Haileybury had 6 players out today, 4 state players and two injured. If we played so crap and are so soft imagine when we play u jokes in the last game with a full team, we will absolutely destroy Scotch. You guys only had 1 player out.

Yes Haileybury did play pretty average today, but imagine when we play well!!! We only lost by 3 points. Just wait till next time.
