Im guessing there is no indication of how many games he will play for Collingwood vfl?
He is good enough but will depend totally on Collingwoods injury list, Rd 1 he was in Collingwood's best and got dropped.... you would think that's how it's going to work all year

Does anyone else think Mont might be giving Greensy a sneaky little chance playing twilight. Evening due and lights might suit Greensy better. Eltham got them last year in a twilight. Gunn & Mullins might run amok

It's a fair call that talls struggle a bit with the lights compared with smaller players although the game starts at 4.10 and doesn't get dark till just before 6 I think so dunno how big of an impact it will make in this instance.

Limbach in red hot form up in the bush.

Pressure on Willitts to perform now one would think.

Looking at montmorencys list from round one, did they have injuries? plenty of players who saw regular reserves action last year played seniors on the weekend

Next season

Monotmoreny v Heidleberg - ANZAC Day
Greensborough v Eltham - Good Friday

Thoughts

Sorry I don't see the connection. Both were signed at Monty until limbach decided to leave.

'Plenty' and 'Regular' are both incorrect.
Of last weeks Mont side, only 3 played ANY Reserve footy last season and that would have been 4 games for one bloke who came in new last season through the Reserves and never went back, and 2 that played totals of 4 & 6 Reserves games for various reasons..... so not sure where your 'analysis' is coming from.

From memory that game was close from the get go and Eltham only got up with a few seconds to go after Mont took the lead late in the last quarter. Ripping contest. It was close while the lights were off in the daylight and it simply stayed close as the game wore on. I didn't think at the time that the lights made any difference to the result whatsoever.

Mont also played Greensy last year in a praccy match under lights and the result there was pretty one sided. I honestly don't think the timing will make any difference to the result. Both sides should be raring to go after R1 wins as it sets them up in the top 4 if they win the first 2 games.

From what I hear from Tiger bosses, there is zero chance of this happening. Enough said

Enough said.....oh, ok. Well I thought it was a great idea. I really like the Good Friday idea. From what I hear some of the country leagues that did that and it was huge. .

Forget playing at night. My understanding is the players don't like it. Forget having to play on a day-off. Saturdays are enough particularly for those with full time jobs and young families. Players welfare is far more important than the dollar. Those decisions should be made by a player(s) advocate/body etc.

It would be great. Every single Good Friday people complain about having no footy. If bergers v mont happened they would get 5 times what they would get on the Saturday. You could have tin rattlers and maybe a gold coin donation entry.

All your points are very valid mate. I personally love my Easter weekend of laziness. However if able to do it I reckon it would be awesome.

Dropped into the twilight game. It is awesome. Huge crowd. Last week at Westgarth St another huge crowd. I reckon more of that IMO. Not just for the all might $. The atmosphere is excellent and usually great footy.

Scoreboard harsh on Epping; they put it to Heidelberg up until the last, looked really physical and hard at it.
Can someone shed some light as to what happened at with cloke and lower coach?

Just what i heard.... Vinny took offence to cloke being physical with one of his players during the game. ( nothing dirty just physical ) and approached him when the siren went on the ground telling him to pick on someone his own size..... Cloke pushed him away ... in the chest... and that was it.
