Emerald loading up recruits for 2024

Seems like all clubs coming up from div 1 are loading up on players. Should make for a much more even year for top division next year. Berwick Springs and Officer have recruited well. Upwey have already recruited 6 or 7 players and I believe another ex captain is about to sign too.

Woori will be very strong next year, signed a couple of quality players and with a new coach and keeping there list I have no doubt they will be a real challenger next year

I think Monbulk and Gembrook will be down the lower end of the ladder unless they can pull another few handy recruits. Monbulk lost a fair few good players and haven't picked up much, whilst Gembrook have recruited a couple but were well behind everyone else last year.

Strachan and Taylor out leave huge holes for Monbulk.

Based on last year March 31 is their target date. anything before that will be a bonus.

Fixture dates sent out to clubs last week asking for fixture requests. Round 1 April 13. I think structure is as per earlier release with Narre Warren, Yea and Broadford in and Hallam out. Plan is to have fixture to be released at AGM

They have a special general meeting this Wednesday 6th December to decide on "future direction of Broadford FNC".

dgball have heard definitely won’t be playing in AFLOE in 2024, would rather go into recess and then try to get into KDFL in 2025

So they change comps... Reserves make finals, try to change comps again... get knocked back... and then say fk it let's have a year off??
Or were they that reliant on the Yea top up players And can't see themselves fielding 2 sides?

Lost a few of their best once they got knocked back. It’s a joke that AFL Vic or which ever governing body it is doesn’t step in. From all reports they were on the right track going forward only to have it derailed.

Pretty sure they were sold a dud about the AFL OE Northern division
Not sure they are saying fk it let’s have a year off, but looking after the best interest of the club moving forward.
You say they were reliant on Yea players but no affiliation in 2023, so not sure what you are on about in fielding 2 sides
They did that and played reserves finals like you pointed out
