Lost a few players including Strachan, Greenall and Taylor so far which are big losses.
No panic at Monbulk. Lost a couple and will gain a couple too once clearances open.

The appointment of the coach is imminent. In typical Monbulk style they are very thorough to make sure they get the right person. Some excellent candidates for the club to consider from too.

Let a couple slip they though they had.

It’s a sellers market if you’re a decent senior coach at the moment. South Croydon are still looking for one and you’d think that would be a pretty attractive job, so no surprise there’s still other clubs on the hunt.

How’d you think it would end.
ChristianBoy I think we both agree it was always a receipt for disaster, short term success for long term pain, maybe even fatal to for the club
Sounds like a brand new club rooms won’t have any occupants if the rumours are true
Maybe some of the Powelly folk who were so vocal about bagging Warby for playing the kids can jump on give us an update or have they moved on as well

FOIA and that’s only 9 players, pretty sure several others are gone as well
Where the flags worth it if there is no club in 2024
From what a group of players who have left are saying there will be at least 17 premiership players that won’t be playing for powelltown next year.

A large % of reserves players won’t play either.

FOIA so why have they all left
They were banging on about how good the culture was etc etc etc
New clubrooms without a club
Always thought when you leave you want to leave the club in better shape than when you got there, be that a president, committee member, coach or player
Makes it hard to get sponsors if they don’t know what the $$ will be paying for
And if they haven’t announced a coach as yet, when most teams are about to start pre-season, going to be an uphill battle
