I think it’s less against the club as a whole, and more against the administration that sold the farm for short term success at what appears to have been at the expense of the existence of the club.

Disappointing for all concerned if they stretch this out. Don't know where you go from only 12 first night with no new signings in the pipe worx only a handful of blokes who may fill in now and then if need be.
Which clubs did they leapfrog?

All use the same old facilities that are run down.
Powelltown will have 1 cricket team and a multi million dollar facility.
How this got through before Seville is disgusting.
I won’t pretend to know how these decisions are made but I would be interested to compare how many applications were made by each sporting club.
I’m a former Powelltown footballer and recent cricketer. I know that plans and applications have been in the pipeline for at least 15 years. Again I don’t pretend to know what Seville have been working toward but I believe the old Powelly rooms were 100% club funded, maybe that is a factor.
When the Powelly rooms were started they/we had 2 footy teams, 5 netball teams and 2 cricket teams.
Potentially expenditure is divided up by town or post code, not much has been spent by the council elsewhere in Powelltown or surrounds lately.
I think it is also the towns bushfire refuge.
Powelly’s old rooms were better than Seville’s though tbf, especially the cold away showers last time I played there!
