The East Side hawks managed to sneak into the 8 after a 31 point win over the Warriors, now they host the in from Dragons FFC who boast a 3-2 winning record. The Dragons achieved this winning record by defeating the Sin City Swamprats by 8 points in a tight match. Determinant was the star that day kicking 4 goals.

The hawks have bolstered their lineup considerably over the offseason bringing in big names such as brahj and Loonerty and unearthing talented rookies like Elton Johns Wig.

The Dragons also strengthened their line up during the offseason, picking up Hatchy1992 Knifey Spoony and dennis crumpet. rookies such as Blaze Storm and Scorpus have flourished so far this season.

Players to watch

brahj vs iBeng looks to be a compelling battle after both featuring prominently in last seasons grand final, and no doubt the heroics of brahj in the final quarter will give him the mental edge over ibeng.

Cammo and Hate have been prolific for the Dragons at times this season, and good performances from these two will take them a long way towards victory.

For the Hawks Loonerty has been excellent and GN80 has also had a strong start to the season.
