The Geelong wolves have made a solid start to season 23 winning 3 of their first 5 games and have a pretty strong percentage. Fresh after knocking of the Undefeated bombers, their confidence will be sky high. But they would underestimate the Royals at their own peril.
The Royals have hit a slump over the past 2 weeks but its merely a blip on the radar. They are a quality side now with names such as Thatsapaddlin and BigJoeD_ Red mist and after a preliminary final loss last season they will be looking to take another step forward.
Players to watch
blackys decision to move himself to full forward has been a masterstroke as he now leads the competition in the race towards the ALF with 27 goals. Nakia and Thatsapaddlin have been two of the premier ball winners this season, and footypie is also dangerous.
For the Wolves its more a team first mentality, rather than being all about the individuals. They have even contributions from the whole team and so far its been paying off. new wolves miggs and pantskyle have been thier best so far this season.

clear your schedule, and get a long black, because this has all the signs of being a big one. The Willo_ effect has been a huge success so far at the wolves after finishing last in season 22, he has turned their fortunes around almost singlehandedly. Lets just hope this match doesnt end up being a flat white.
