Twice this season he has taken me to the cleaners (I think) but I'm a firm believer in 3rd time lucky and this week will be 3rd time lucky as I come out and have my best game for 2 months.

No better time to gain retribution than a knock out semi. If we win the game with you dominating in ruck, those practice matches in rounds 3 and 14 will be about as relevant as Carlton in September.

The Gumbies choose to support youth, and urge that all members give their best efforts for the rest of the season. Our Full Forward has done an excellent job this season, and the only way he can improve is to get vital finals experience.

The Gumbies Captain also challenges the Swamprats captain to a duel in the centre, on the basis that aardvarks are significantly better than anteaters, and dares him to prove that wrong. (In other words, come duel with me Ant Bear in the centre)
