Not at all. I came here for a purpose and Rome wasn't built in a day. BRAB has made some headway this season, the addition of haydo has pushed things along a little further and hopefully my addition adds something as well. The litmus test will be the offseason and who we can bring in, either rookies or players just looking for a change of scenery.

I have cousins who are diehard Hawthorn fans (yes, it’s the non-qooty league, but stick with it). Went to a game in 2001 with them, Round 18, Hawks vs Freo at Docklands.

Freo had a pretty tough run in.

Hawks were top 4. Expectations from my cousins and almost everyone in the crowd was for a big Hawks win. Just to annoy them, I bought a Freo scarf. Might have been one of 30-40 people at the ground wearing one.

And Freo won. By a couple of goals. The theme song played. The crowd barely knew what it sounded like.

It was the most embarrassing theme song in sport. Full Freo heave ho. The shame of the Hawks fans was delicious.

That’s what it’s like when the Gumbies win. Every week. We inflict horror on our opponents because we are shameless and selfless.

The teams that lose to the Gumbies spend the next week with their tails between their legs.

That’s why we shouldn’t change our name imho

That would've been good advice a few seasons ago when they had one poster for the entire thread. Nowadays, it's a much different story.
