I don't remember that ad, I do remember there was an ad that used the Mellow Yellow song by Donovan.

Does anyone remember Tab? I loved that stuff. It was discontinued in Australia ages ago. Maybe late 80's. I just looked up it and it was discontinuted completely in 2020 . Here's to one final Tab:

I had to check if that was true or not and it is. Here is the card.

So Argentina scored 12 runs, of which 3 were extras. So 9 runs off the bat for the loss of 10 wickets. With 2 players run out for a duck. All out in the 12th over.

Brazil weren't much better, their winning score of 13 includes 7 extras. So 6 runs off the bat. The two wickets were both ducks. Won in the 4th over.

If Argentina had kept their bowling tighter they may have been a chance.

Or the pitch was one hell of a minefield and the game should have been called off. Looks like it was played in Mexico so no idea what curators they were using.

I am very excited for the rematch in a couple of days. I'll have to find a place where I can watch it.

I would have been far too young to remember that ad. But hasn't the world changed so much since then?

For the worse IMO. It's just a laugh and everyone is laughing at the end. If the genders were reversed I wouldn't care.

Maybe with some. But in my family there is usually a fight about who WANT'S to pay for everyone.

I'm not aiming to rip off the rebrand scab, but it's not like there's a great history at the Eyrie. You've only played there since Season 28.

That was the first part of the rebrand though. The whole point was to shed AFL connotations and integrate fully into Sweet.

Kate Pierson has an all time great voice. If she was around in the 60's she would have been a major star. I like this one:

I still can, but I won’t be in the position to be able to enjoy it

Haha I brought this up in another match thread recently but yeah, memories of my parents fighting over who pays the bill are so relatable . These days, it’s a happy balance , but there are still no stingy people in my broader circle

Not sure about the mindset that wants to change something again after 4 seasons. Then again, I wonder what proportion of the community would want to readopt the Hawks after one. Fact is the Eyrie currently fits in with Sweet, as well as being a great fit for a bird-linked club - and we didn’t want to disrupt that. I wasn’t around in S28 but presume that was the reason it changed in the first place.

And there I was thinking that it was more to do with the furore . The reaction at the start of the season was out of proportion - I still think many were salty about not being in the know
Next time- they should just have more chilli /herbs

Did you consider the Willy Wagtail?
